I appreciate its a squad game and that we need to strengthen, but whose starting position would he be challenging for? Is he a wide player or does he play more centrally?
Left sided attacker.

Turned out to be a good day!!
At 1pm it wasn't looking good....was soaked from kids footy in morning, arrived too late to visit Curry Corner so was also starving!
Had received videos of the in-laws celebrating goals in their living room like it was a last minute winner in the Champions League final.

Turned out ok though!! 👍🤣⚽

Don't understand the negative comments on here for EMC. One of our best players.
A real threat.
I think West Brom agree with you! They had 4 players around him when he had the ball.

Have a look mate, the amount of goals down our left side, going Forward really good but he’ll always get caught out
We have let 15 goals in the league. Third best defence for a team that essentially attacks most of the game. We will always potentially get caught on the break. Take the three Wrexham goals out and we have the best defence. Those three goals came when JDS was out, and if memory serves me correctly, at least two came down the left.
Most players are right footed, so that is where most teams attacking ability is concentrated.
Why people pile on every time we let a goal in down the left is beyond me.
JDS made a mistake for the first goal but, the general consensus is that Kitch should have done better with both goals.
JDS and MVE attack high up the pitch and both inevitably get caught out. MVE has exceptional pace but even he can't get back all the time. Grimes saved his bacon against West Brom.

Kitching gets off Scott free with some fans every goal down his side blamed on Dasilva when at least half are his fault.

He was one of the culpable parties for both goals. Da Silva was also culpable for the first and to a greater extent. Thomas' positioning for the second was very strange, he was miles behind the defensive line.

I've just been listening to this and got pissed off at the utter nobody Parkin saying about when he signed for Cov: "Had you ever heard of them?"
The way Chris Coleman treated him doesn’t surprise me at all. Wanted his own forwards, so tried to force a player out by playing him out of position. What a joke of a manager he was.

Yeah totally agree, for the first goal Kitching put Dasilva in big trouble with the pass, literally gave him nowhere to go other than try and knock it past the player. And Thomas miles behind the rest of the defence for the 2nd that came down the left, if Thomas was in line he'd have been way offside. Like Lampard said we've not made many of them errors this season, hopefully back to normal tomorrow

Look. One day like me you will realise he is “one of our own”. Nothing more nothing less and 100% without prejudice. He’s just not up to it. I love Eccles really do, but when plays he offered nothing more than a cov kid playing for the badge.
What a rubbish opinion

Timely reminder.

Do any of the older supporters remember our promotion year into the old Second Division. With only a few games to go City were top of the league by a clear nine points, then came a slump. The last game of the season arrived, against Colchester, we were now in third place behind Crystal Palace and Oldham. Both Palace and Oldham lost and with us beating Colchester 1-0 we were promoted and as Champions.

I remember the meltdown on Sky Blues Telegram!
