I didn’t want to start a new thread just for this query!… I’m getting the train from the North West on Saturday morning to Nuneaton as it’s the quickest. Usually I stay with family for the weekend and I’ve never been to the CBS via Nuneaton.

Other than catching the once an hour train to the arena, does anyone from Nuneaton area have any advice on best transport to the arena or how much a taxi would be? Thanks in advance.
I do this journey from Manchester a fair bit as it's like an hour quicker to Nuneaton than Cov. I normally just jump in an uber from the station to near the ground about £10-15. The change over is a pain in the arse, always like 55mins there and back.

Yeah I agree, it's definitely not a poor league at all, like you say it's very competitive with more strength in depth. The promoted sides have spent a fortune and none of them will be anywhere near relegation.

Ipswich look like they are coming on strong now. It's good that the other 2 parachute sides have got their own struggles this season (Leicester potential points deduction, Southampton change of manager). Them factors have helped make it a bit more of an even playing field than in previous years where the parachute sides have ran away with it.
Thats why its so important to get a good start and create a gap! if we lose and dont drop that helps with confidence and move onto the next game whereas last couple of seasons everyone was crapping themselves thinking were going to drop like stone.

Doesn't help that the 3 relegated were abysmal. That's just carried on.

Dont agree it's a poor league.

This league has never had the likes of Birmingham/Wrexham and Charlton who also spent about 10million go up.

Its crazy competitive. Id argue it's never been so competitive top to bottom if you disregard Wednesday.
Try and look beyond the words 'poor league' a little more.

If the parachute teams who got battered week in week out in the PL last season came down and were in the top 3 in the Championship then I'd see a stronger argument for claiming the Championship is 'poor'. The fact that they aren't surely proves the opposite.
Trying to compare last season teams to this season teams is probably the weakest argument I've seen so far.

That’s my thinking with getting the train from
Chester, it’s an hour quicker.

A lot of us were.
Myself and a schoolmate queued for ages at the Thackhall St turnstiles, and were some of the first in, to claim our spot near the middle of the covered end.
Couldn't believe the numbers overflowing everywhere by kick-off.
I was just to the left of the goal at the front of the overflow at the covered end, when you look towards the pitch. H&S screwed all that.

Question, anyone know if the prematch fanzone will be open? And if so at what time please? Thanks

The club have announced, the fanzone in the Exhibition Hall will be open from 10 am.
But it won't be open after the game, just those in the Concourse will be open for two hours after the game.
