Ok that probably explains your opinion then.I wasn’t alive
Just thought the same as I was the same age at 87 as my son was for this gameI wasn’t alive
Nah it’s all part of the drama and robins explained the planI think the VAR decision has distracted us from the fact we should have got at them earlier instead of sitting back and admiring them for 2/3 of the game

HindsightYep, for all Robins brilliance (and he is a truly amazing manager for us) he set us up wrong. We were all saying it even before the first goal and then again at half time. Their weakness was the defence/defensive midfield area, you can get at them and cause problems as we proved second half, but we just showed too much respect
WowNot sure if this has been posted already (sorry if so)

Hindsight
Foresight is much harder
Felt gutted for him having to come offTavares is an unsung hero for that game he allowed MvE time and space to overlap and also put a good ball in for our first, if he’s not a winger he can most certainly become one
Agreed he really changed it and I think if you had to choose to keep or sell one of Godden and Tavares you wouldn’t be selling Tav, I think there is something thereFelt gutted for him having to come off
He was mateyHe wasn’t offside
He was matey
Technically but it has to be the moment that causes the fa to do something different with offsides it’s wrong headed for that to be given when it’s so close and it can’t be accurately checked

The red line is beyond the blue line thems the rulesNo he wasn’t. He was level. The VAR lines showed that. I know you’re the referees union Pete but it was a mistake. I have eyes.

Liew is a great writer. There’s a piece he wrote last year about going to the cricket with his dad that made me cry.Not sure if this has been posted already (sorry if so)

I’m gutted and it’s wrongheaded but he was legitimately off under the laws of our game
Another issue which seems to be overlooked. Their goalkeeper booked for the second time during the penalties. What is the logic the booking is not deemed as part of that game, but carried over? Or am I being illogical in my thoughts?

It's a stupid rule. Plus as it had been in the news this week he knew he could do it. Collins also got booked a 2nd time I believe.
But onana should have been booked multiple times from about 50 mins on.
