But I would 100% argue the financial gap/profile between the top flight and the league below has historically never been wider - and this is why this game is the most important we have ever played.

I would simply argue croat that this is far bigger given the huge gulf between the divisions. The Premier league is on a completely different global scale compared to the 80s/90s.bit different to the ‘greatest manager’ debate, way too many options.. Everton ‘85, QPR ‘86, Wembley ‘87, Spurs ‘97, the list goes on.

I wish I was guaranteed premonition this weekI think your memory is letting you down there, the win against Wolves meant the City were Guaranteed premonition, hence the 50+k crowd and then on the last game of the season the home win against Millwall and a defeat for Wolves at Crystal Palace meant the City are Champions.
