Not even a whisper about us owning the place. I think they’ve gone for ‘if we don’t acknowledge it, it didn’t happen’Is Shugs still insisting its all part of the plan![]()

2bf they were both trying to avoid the massive cluster fuck and legal wrangles that would come with expelling us.I don’t think we should forget the FA and EFL in all this as well.
They sanctioned the move to Northampton despite it being against their own rules
This is 100% correct. But it’s also why we needed SISU to succeed, them succeeding and fighting for themselves meant that we were kept on life support.I can't think of it that way
The Council were looking out for the Council
Wasps were looking out for Wasps
Sisu were looking out for Sisu
Coventry City was looking out for Sisu
Every party was looking out for itself, except our club under Sisu management.
I can't forgive Sisu for using our club as a pawn in its battles

there was a solution - it was Northampton, that made things easier for them
I think that’s fairly standard as far down as Semi Pro level. We had a team in the MFL last season who has to play their first 4 or 5 home games at another local venue due to pitch issues (which is obviously the clubs fault and not the League). When they informed the League in September that they could now play at home again the League insisted that they remain at their current venue for the entire season! I guess a lot of it is due to administrative reasons and costing involved. That was a cowardly decision though.
No point in having rules if you won’t enforce them
