Of course. Wouldn't expect anything different.

No strikers? Midfield wiped out? Defenders not back and more added to the list? EMC out and Tats not back? Rushworth? Until we see the team list we won't know the full extent of the flu in our side.

It shouldn't be that bad but we won't know until we see our side named.
You just said we'd be alright with our second or third team out

All players are limited to one half slice of turkey and a bite of pudding, in bed by 9 o clock Christmas evening.

Unrelated, but I am showing my Christmas spirit by hosting an alll you can eat turkey dinner with heavy gravy for all Swansea players at 9 o clock that Christmas evening, unlimited puddings, and an open bar of spirits. Karaoke at midnight with a winner's award bout half 2 o clock.
Is there anyone here with a heavy cold that could pop round to the Swansea hotel on Xmas Day and launch a biological attack?

So you missed the other part out now that you thought was funny to include previously.

And 2nd or 3rd choice players has now become 2nd or 3rd choice team. Give it a rest.

You said we’d win with second or third choice players. We clearly wouldn’t

The Swansea fans on their forum are incredibly confident for a team that's lost 4 away games on the spin coming to the league leaders who have won their last 7 at home.

Hmm, not sure they are? There will always be a few posters like that but here are some of the posts for reference…

“Stating the obvious. Will be difficult one. Let's hope we put performance in. And get a draw at least”

“Guaranteed Grimes last minute winner. Pointless watching. I jest, kind of.”

“Offensively Cov look really threat with pace and over lapping. But at the back they look vulnerable especially now with their first choice back four unavailable. Bidwell and Lati both not regulars for Cov so get Inoussa on Bidwell from the start.”

“We haven’t lost there since they moved to their new ground. Even though we were 3-0 down under Martin before drawing 3-3. I’d expect a few changes for this with more winnable games coming up in the following days - expect to see a few of Idah, Key, Cullen, Casey and Samuels-Smith.”

“Only watched the first half of their game against Saints and my God they were unbelievable they absolutely played them off the park. Think this Is a complete free hit game as long as we don't come away with a smashing and any injuries to important players I'll be happy.”

“This game is obviously going to be a huge test for all the management and playing staff. As long as we can put up a good show and compete even if it's defeat then that would be a decent outcome in the grand scheme of things.”

There are of course a few posts talking about our “dip in form” without taking into account who we have played away from home and how it’s our most difficult portion of the season.

They also don’t seem to be factoring in their upwards tick in form has coincided with wins against Wrexham, Portsmouth and Oxford; all at home!

Can't believe some of the negativity on here just lately.
We've had a full week to prepare, and get over the runny noses, so we will have players back, rested and ready to go.

Time to get back to the free scoring we saw earlier this season.
Someone's due a spanking, and the Swans might be another bird that gets a good stuffing this Christmas

I can't be arsed to do an alternative cut and paste job but there are a lot of very confident posts too. Nothing wrong with that of course, it was just an observation.

Still have nightmares over their previous visits.

I remember the game a few Christmas ago when they scored in the last minute.

So much depends on who is available

Not buying this "we will win easily and they are no good.l" comments. Every team in this division is capable of beating another.

We will need as strong as side as possible and to put on a decent performance.

I am quietly confident, rather than very confident.

Think we will miss Dasilva. Brau did okay on Saturday, but he was getting a lot of stick for previous appearances, when featured, with many saying he's not good enough for Championship football.

If Saka is back, that would be a major boost and we could really do with at least one out of Kitching and Thomas back too.

Going to predict a 3-1, but that's based on us fielding a strong side and players playing, but not struggling.

Could be tight otherwise.
