Hard for him to stay central when he’s playing on the wing (although he tries his best!)Thats down to Rudoni for me. He slows us right down with his current main character syndrome. Dont know if he's believing his own hype but we've looked shit going forward since he came back in and its the elephant in the room. Wants to be the source of everything
Hes an unbelievable player at this level and im not advocating to drop him but hes pissing me off, stay central and do what you do in the 10, there's no one better in this league at it![]()
I thought they looked poor against Wrexham and only won through two calamitiesReading their forum, they seem confident due to their recent run of 3 wins in 4 games and our run of 1 win in 4. They have a few danger men in Galbraith, Vipotnik, Tymon and a new manager (Matos) that seems to be getting a tune out of them. Hope we are able to field more of our starters (Thomas, Kitching and Saka) for this one although our second stringers didn't do any harm to stake a claim for a place. Obviously someone needs to fill in at LB. This match could potentially see Rushworth, Grimes, Lati and Bidwell facing off against their former team. Their defender Cameron Burgess has scored 3 own goals this season and hope his generosity continues.
I wouldn't underestimate them and hope we can eke out a win considering form, fitness, injuries/illness and suspensions.
The other 3 games referred to was a loss to Stoke and home wins against Portsmouth and Oxford.I thought they looked poor against Wrexham and only won through two calamities
Galbraith is the standout player and I rate Vipotnik but he’s been feeding off scraps all season. Truth is though we’ve just played 3 out of the last 4 away from home at PNE, Ipswich and Southampton with illness running through the side. They’ve had a far easier run of games and needed a double Collins to win last week.Reading their forum, they seem confident due to their recent run of 3 wins in 4 games and our run of 1 win in 4. If illness continues to be affecting our squad anything can happen of course.
Really going to miss Dasilva, because he's been excellentWho isn't ill and who plays left back the big questions regarding team selection.
Amyl nitrate.Be nice to meet an opposition team who are ravaged by flu, instead of us! Hopefully the club have plentiful supplies of lemsip, or whatever else elite sporting institutions use these days.
DM me if you have any spare OtisAmyl nitrate.
Not won against them since 2025 tbf.Not won at home to these since 1981 btw.

Reckon it’ll be kkhBrau to step into Da Silva place for me Torp and Milan were coughing when they came off so hopefully it's gone by boxing day as I think these two played not feeling great.
...while we sneeze together... (your turn)
I think youre probably rightIf we are playing a back 3, then I expect to see Brau play LWB. If it's a back 4, then Bidders at LB.
I think youre probably right
What's our record like against Newport? It’s probably my muscle memory as a Cov fan - but I think we always struggle against Welsh teams - want to relax and enjoy but I’m nervous already!![]()
