Really good performance to be fair

best game I’ve seen haji wright play, fair play to him

encouraging performance and can’t be too critical

We looked like the likely winners in the end. Fair result considering the saints ran te game first half. Their keeper won their point in the end from Sheaf. We re looking better and it is a good result. Wright, what has happened to him? he looks a complete different player the last two games. Simms just not looking comfortable though.

Point was more than I expected but we need to believe a little more.

Thomas looks solid

Wright looked good even tracking back.

Simms looked a handful until about 60 mins then he didn't do shit.

Mve solid again

Sako solid again

Palmer looked great when he come on

Point is a point take another two points out next two games and I'm happy.

Agree with most of that, but thought Simms looked poor.
Good to see Wright get on the score sheet, after giving him some stick on here I have to say he's improved since the last international break.

70 odd % possession and we had more shots on goal if I saw correctly...

Least me and my manager tomorrow won't be scrapping with a draw.

We should have won that based on the second half. Agree that we just need a bit more confidence in ourselves. Wright very good, probably the best I’ve seen him play. Thomas and Kitching looking a very solid pairing and O’Hare showing us why we’ve missed him again. Sheaf and Allen below their usually standard. Still not impressed by Simms.

decent point, decent performance, Wright buoyed by his goal and team improving…

my only gripe - I thought MVE was quite wasteful particularly second half, and after that knock, maybe it was worse than he thought

not one of Sheaf’s better games, but still overall not too bad

moving in the right direction

To be honest I don't think Eccles had the best cameo tonight so I probably wouldn't be calling people out ...

Thoroughly enjoyed that. Outstanding from us. Southampton look like promotion material and though they had the bulk of possession we were always in it and could have won.

Simms was told to do a job in keeping on the CBs to allow Wright and Tatsu space down the flanks.

These are almost certainly one of the hardest teams we'll play all season, don't think a point is to be sniffed at. As a team, we're getting there, I believe.

Only slight criticism

sheaf needs to get slightly tighter with his passing sometimes

Need to watch again then , broke up the play well , moved it forward quickly and supported play well. Still shouldn’t be on corner duty though

I thought all our crossing was fairly pants tonight Bidwell or MVE looked more dangerous down the middle of the pitch.

Either team could’ve won. Sheaf needs to be better.

Definitely needed the subs coming on. It gave us a boost of energy and we looked dangerous. Thought Palmer was sharp and changed the tempo.

Good point. That's how we should have set up at Ipswich. They are a better side than us but we set up in a way where we could nullify them.

O'Hare was excellent. Not just the assist but the pressing and movement is another level than anything we've got. If only he didn't get injured last year.

Sheaf had one of 'those'. Nothing really went right for him against a side all over our midfield. Move on from it.

Two really tough games coming up away from home. Build on that and play with the same formation.

Yeah there are definitely green shoots. He is so strong when the ball is played into him.

Robins needs to trust the bench more , it’s arguably as strong as it could be currently

I wouldn't say he was a huge improvement. I like Eccles but I only remember THAT corner from his performance. No dangerous forward passing or moving of the ball.

A lot of positives to take from that. Our CB pairing looking very very tidy, our right hand side is frightening, o’hare getting sharper and sharper, wright looked very decent. It’s coming together.

Yeah, I meant more short passes or overrunning the ball, running it into touch or poor control - but maybe the knock affected him

Gets the ball down and holds it well. Just tries a bit too much at times, but think he's getting there

Southampton must be frustrating to watch, excellent on the ball but little penetration.

Haji MOTM, best game so far. Good showing from O’Hare again. Sheaf overplaying it at times.

Could’ve been a win late on but a draw is a decent result. Might think about bringing Eccles back in for the Leeds game.

Good performance could of won it and finished strong. Kitching, MVE and Wright played well we seem to be getting hold of the shape. Its another point and another step forward and i see more positive with this squad. Without the majority of the ball we still created good chances.
