Disappointing. But Boro conceding late on is probably even bigger than us losing.

This was always going to be a tough game arguibly our toughest left , missing our best centre half and Rudoni aswell ..

We actually werent as bad as some will make out and probably deserved something but thats football .

Boro a great result

We only have ourselves to blame. Second goal was a poor goal to concede. Soton played well.

Yeah look at them, celebrating like they've won the league. Biggest bunch of cheats I've seen.

They can have their moment if it really means that much to them. Only dropped a point, that's more important.

You spent most the game rimming the ref.

I hate modern day football. Why do the team topnof league at home winning 6 in a row, decide to go for it at 0-2 down in the 91st min.

Should have been kitchen sink from 70 onwards

A draw would have been a fair result. Their staff are celebrating like they've won a cup final.

I think it was going to be our hardest result.

Teams below us not picking up maximums just means its another game they struggle to catch us.

Really disappointing but the Middlesbrough result softens it a bit. Hopefully just a one off rick.

Sadly one of them, deserved at least a point, ref in large parts dreadful as he has been almost every time he has reffed our games

No real harm done and a lot to remind ourselves about. Bonus Boro drawing means we only effectively drop a point. It's football.

So he didn't even add enough on for the pen let alone all the extra time wasting.

Should have got a point at least with the Kitchin header, the Haji header and that chance at the end.

Feel almost identical to the Burnley game last season. Our attacking play was too one dimensional. Have to mix it up for the final 8 games to get over the line.

Yep super soft to concede the second and super unlucky not to score a second. But we've still got 7/8 effective points on Milwall/'Boro/Ipswich with only 8 to go... Swansea/Derby games we need to get some points on the board, can't let this stip our momentum...

hopefully that's a fair chunk of our bad luck and shite referring decisions out of the way in one game. Hope those twats make the playoffs now, then shit the bed. Scabby fuckers.

Why do we always start the second half of games so slowly? Both times we've played these they scored pretty much straight from the restart. Just not good enough all round today. That said, even playing as poorly as we did, their keeper makes 3 worldie saves. On another day we win. Their fans celebrating like they've just won the champions league says it all. Shit team, shit fans, shit, anti-football tactics! They wont make play-offs. And if they do, they wont win them

Michael Brown on R5 last week told a Harry Redknapp story. He said to the players "what are you going to do if you need a goal in the last minute" "Get it in their box, boss?" "Exactly-so why wait until the last minute, GET IT IN THEIR BOX EARLIER!"

Fucking cunts.

That wasn't really enough, that second half wasn't managed well, but they are a rancid, dirty team and didn't do enough to win that game.

Shocking refereeing performance. The decisions were different for each team.

Really, really frustrating that the player whose input had the most bearing on the outcome shouldn't have been on the pitch.

You have to take those chances. Haji missed an absolute sitter. Wolfenden two weak headers that Thomas would have scored. Horrible to watch on TV.

Still 7 points ahead of second. If one of Ipswich and Millwall can drop points then it won't be too bad a day.

Even Kevin Phillips said Matsuki should have been sent off.
