Lampard getting him to speed but he’s not as good as emc saka or esse at the moment

He cost more than two of those and the other isn’t our player and has been pretty useless when he’s been on the pitch.

He’s been here since January, how long does he take to get up to speed? Is he an articulated lorry?

I'd have thought Esse would get the nod on the right if Saka is out.

A bit of his trickery might be what we need against a low block.

" a bit of trickery" when teams play the low block that's when you need a winger to get to the buy line and cross the ball.

I haven't seen Esse do that.

Really? Rubbish

Yeah out of position, losing the ball in bad areas, trying too much and it not coming off. Etc. I don’t think he’s made himself the undroppable choice that would make us lose to Sheff Wed if he doesn’t play

Esse. He’s scored half his xG, shown some shockingly naive play for someone who has been around the first team of a PL club and generally not had a massive impact. He’s also again: not our player. Hence me rather seeing Markelo if Saka is out tomorrow.
I agree esse is naive but better than markelo at the moment I think

I’ve been dying with full confidence for weeks.
We’re already promoted
We’ve already won the league
I’m ready to get drunk

I think you need to temper the expectation of him, it's just caution, I think he's going to plan, it's like signing EMC but without the loan back, I'm excited by him but prepared to wait or not if that's required, he'll be ready for the start in prem, I mean there'll be a real element of surprise, I'm sure they brought him like a Sunderland type of purchase?

I'm sure this has already been brought up but this game has to be the widest points gap between two teams playing each other?

I can’t find another player that has suddenly started turning up for the first team after failing to start in the first three months but happy to be proven wrong. EMC started his first game for us.

If you discount the points deduction there’s one other involving Liverpool IIRC

How many players have we signed who have come into a team that is top of the division with players in their position being a big part of that success?

Markelo was bought for the future, we just got the opportunity to sign hin in January. If he can contribute now then all the better. It's between BTA and Esse in my book and they'll probably both get game time.

Coventry 2 - 0 Sheff Weds

Rushworth

van Ewijk - Thomas - Lati - Dasilva

Grimes - Torp

Esse - Eccles - Mason-Clarke

Wright

I can see it being end to end in the first half and we’ll see out a professional result 2nd half keeping possession and seeing out the 3 points, Eprhon is due a goal and so is Torp so I think Ephron scores early on and Torp scores a free kick. They have a very good young keeper who could be good to sign and loan back out to the championship next season, they’ll be well up for it and willing to go toe to toe with us because what have they got to lose they’re already confirmed bottom and lost 5-0 at home to us
Fucking use the spoiler tags!!!

How long has it taken Lati to nail down a place and make a useful contribution?
