That’s on Lampard. Wrong team selection. We should have had a natural winger on the right.

Wright didn’t deserve a start after his Hull performance.

But also those players on the pitch were clueless.

Nothappy with that. Call it what it is. We were poor all round. Wrong formation and tactics led to a frustrating afternoon. No excuse, regardless of Wed standing firm, we were hopeless and devoid of ides today. 3 points still needed. Will it be blackburn or will it be Pompey? Do our players want t show they can be kept on for the premiership? They best stand up and be counted in the next one. Saka was a huge miss today and we changed our game.
Oh well, it will surely come....

Today could have been immense but not a single one of our players wanted it as much as the fans did. Pathetic display, we deserved nothing.

I don't think this is a day to have a go at the team, personally.

We are so close and it's been a magnificent season for us. We are nearly there.

We were sub par and Wednesday played well and defended their box admirably.

We are so close. Let's not hammer the players now.

Bad day at the office, let's move on and on to Blackburn. We weren't awful. Just powder puff.

Sheffield Wednesday were decent to be fair. We looked complacent from the start, thought we had the game won already.

Yawn again, at this point it is proven, come at me all you like. Love Lamps and what he has achieved but starting BTA right wing was the wrong call

Totally piss poor performance, they bottled it and only tougher games to come, let’s all hope they find some balls for the next game

Ah well , really poor throughout and 2 games on a row really poor performances throughout the team , limping over the line it seems .

Poor starting 11 and dreadful levels of intensity against the worst side the championship has ever seen

Yeah this, also think if Thomas was fit today he has to start for aerial threat from corners.

Lessons learned:
1) Saka was sorely missed today.
2) Need a new front line. Wright, BTA and Simms are not Premier League quality.
3) Markelo is a strange signing. Is Yang worse? Esse not much better.

Team needs to realize the job’s still not done. I want the trophy damn it. Finishing 2nd would be disappointing.

They weren't; they were organised, but had nothing in the way of threat. They looked like we should have expected them to look; a team that doesn't win but doesn't get battered either.

We were slow, played without intensity, allowed them to get into shape and played into their hands. It was desperately poor.

I hope Tatsu is back for the next game. He’s more vital to this team than people realise. He sets the tone and work rate needed.

Incredibly poor performance and result under the circumstances. Ipswich are more than likely going to win at Portsmouth midweek and Blackburn away wont be easy.

Its not unrealistic for Ipswich to only be 4 points behind with a game in hand in a week's time.

I don’t get why Lampard has played BTA when we have 2 wingers on the bench.

Lack of balance on the right was a poor decision I wasn’t at all sure where BTA was meant to be on the pitch

Ellis Simms what a hilarious striker.

Never seen a centre forward who DOESN’T expect the ball to come to him in the box as much as Simms. Crosses just hitting off him all the time.

On Simms, I have never wanted someone to do well so much, has everything physically, but sadly is just not good enough. Sakamoto in the team today and I'm confident we win

What the fuck was up with Wright again ? Lazy bugger just looks disinterested most games. Simms is just lacking quality. We’ll get there but they’re going to need others to step up as usual in front of goal.

Anything less than a Boro win still leaves us in the position we should have been in if we'd won- at least one of Boro or Millwall will need to be perfect, we'll need to lose every game and they'll need to claw back the GD for us not to go up.

Still pissed off mind.

This.

A better striker anticipates it even if they don't expect it.

Fingers crossed for them to get their heads straight for the Blackburn game
