This was never going to be the walk in the park that some seemed to expect, but that was a very frustrating performance. An awful lot of sloppy play in there; simple passes misplaced and poor in their box.

No-one's playing particularly well, and I don't like BTA on the right.

Very sloppy. Balance is all wrong with Thomas-Asante tucking in and Van Ewijk playing as wingback. Either swap Rudoni and Thomas-Asante or bring on Esse.

That was tough watch, a real lack of intensity, pedestrian and sloppy in possession and devoid of idea. And been quite open at the back.

Really missing Sakamoto's intensity and width. Whether it's tactics or just BTA naturally drifting centrally, it's not working. We are too narrow at times, and although Milan has been a good outlet, there have been dozens of times it's just been cut off by not having someone with him.
