Performances getting worse, it feels like Lampard is going to be an all or nothing manager. Good run, bad run.
From my Sunday league days, I couldn't care I'm taking the shot on
Having two threats on the flanks made the difference, we had nothing left side in the first halfHe coincided with it but we just played with far better intensity and aggression regardless
Ref didn't see it because Bobby's head was in the wayBobby's was off his shoulder.
Should catch it in a tissue.I’m soaked through
I actually thought McCallum was arguably their best player tonightOHare played well
Ref had blown but that save in the 1st half was unbelievableThought Rushworth was excellent as well.
I didn't think he was particularly bad , he could've scored and set up a couple of chances first half . Think it was more a combination of him not quite at it and BTA not offering much out wide .Eccles was the only one that stood out as poor to me. Didn't press, didn't move forward into space and didn't do what we expect of someone in that position. Was he bad, no. But he wasn't the right fit for that spot and the way we play. I said after 25 minutes we needed to swap him for EMC and put BTA in the middle. Whats really pleasing is how quick Lamps made that change.
Oh bloody hell not this again.
It really was.Ref had blown but that save in the 1st half was unbelievable

We cant play eccles there again , i dont mind the lad but not thereHe coincided with it but we just played with far better intensity and aggression regardless

i thought he looked a lot less confident tonight to be honest.Thought Rushworth was excellent as well.
Thought he was indecisive at times , a few of the back line were on at him to come out earlier and clear long balls .Thought Rushworth was excellent as well.
Their goAlkeeper subbed?
That moment in the first half when he drove at 2 players was really excellent. What a lovely little player he is...Sakamoto is full of confidence and it shows. He was a little one dimensional under Robins but now much more variation.
We aren't Brazil 1970 FFSMeh. Win is the main thing, but people would be lying if they said it was comfortable. ‘Better team for the entirety of the second half’ is a stretch, we started looking scrappy again late on.
Didnt look anywhere near fit tonight. Needs the international break to put some work in on the training ground.Yeah but you would at least expect him to get around the pitch.
Really. Surprised at that. Thought he was decisive and made two absolutely brilliant clawing saves.i thought he looked a lot less confident tonight to be honest.
What a fucking team that wasWe aren't Brazil 1970 FFS
Playing badly and winning is the mark of a good side
And we started to look scrappy when they were throwing on attackers , it happens at every level
O'Hare and Sam Mac the only two out of their squad I'd have anywhere near our bench. Imagine having the money they've had in the last 5-6 years, and bringing Tom Davies and Danny Ings on to try and get you something out of a game.I actually thought McCallum was arguably their best player tonight
Like @skybluecam said and a few others , I think Frank felt we had to play another proper midfielder tonight after Friday's capitulationWe cant play eccles there again , i dont mind the lad but not there
I bet they are still paying them and Tom cannon a fortuneO'Hare and Sam Mac the only two out of their squad I'd have anywhere near our bench. Imagine having the money they've had in the last 5-6 years, and bringing Tom Davies and Danny Ings on to try and get you something out of a game.
