Got to say its been a bit of an anticlimax of late but I still feel great about the prospects of our football club. Things have improved massively in many ways and we are only a few years away from the despair those utter bastards SISU created.
The future is Sky Blue !

Just trying to put a positive spin on a very disappointing finish to the season. Guess it really should serve as a wake up call to MR as to which players/areas of the pitch we are woeful, who to keep, who to bin off, where to recruit, strengthen etc. Seeing the likes of Ipswich achieve back to back promotions should make him aware that what we want for the club shouldn’t require enormous resources.

Ipswich showed the way. Screw the cup, focus on the league. Still a decent season all things considered, we sold our 2 best players and still scored more goals than last season and got to the FA Semi-final. But yeah, good thing we collected our bread-and-butter league points for fun in the middle of the season, otherwise we could have been in the relegation cake mix today, the one where Brum just got baked.

Hopefully Vic gets sold and we go shopping this summer. The defence needs it.

I had depression as you know and have been told countless times.
Ok won't bring it up again

But no need to worry too much imo. Robins only has a track record of making us better over time

Today had good atmosphere for lap of honour. Don't let it ruin ya mood. Sunny day enjoy it and the exciting summer signing players

Ipsw didn’t deliberately lose to Maidstone ….. good grief

Think you’re purposely misconstruing what’s been said tbh. I don’t think he said they deliberately lost.
Ipsw showed the way … screw the cup …. That does rather suggest it was a deliberate act. Otherwise Ipsw didn’t show anything

Hear you, but Mark Robins has a headache on his hands in the summer, has to rebuild the squad again 😲

Again. It doesn’t really suggest that at all.

Can’t you see it as losing in the cup may well have done them a favour?

Not “screw the cup [purposely lose] and concentrate on the league”

Agreed, of course they/I didn't. I just mean that after their cup exit, Ipswich put all their efforts into the league, and it's paid off for them. King sees promotion as more of a priority then FA Cup Semis (I hope), and so do us........otherwise WTF are we doing?

Exactly. Nobody can be thick enough to think Ipswich deliberately lost by having what, 38 shots? Not sure how Deity was seeing it like that…

Disappointing. Whichever way you look at it, with regards to taking just 4 points from 8 games.

Yes, transitional season, yeees, FA Cup run, yes small squad, but this is the issue: there was hope of reaching the playoffs and the FA Cup final and now…

In a way, I’m just glad it’s over now. We went out with a wet fart, but I feel this summer’s in’s and out’s will dictate if we’re to push on next season. The team is lacking in numbers, depth, quality and a driving force in midfield.

Let’s just wait and see, I suppose. PUSB.

Battled well second half and a bit unlucky - keeper made some fine saves. Re: QPR. Why did Chair act the tawt after his goal? Celebrate with your own fans. Secondly, please tell me that those gobby QPR fans making their way down the side after the game chanting 'we saw you cry on the telly' eventually got a deserved slap.

Yes, I've been trying to think of what we've done to upset Chair. Maybe got a bit of stick in a previous game but it's not something I remember.
