Does anyone know a pub in Cork which will have it on? Chelsea & Man City both playing in the Champions League at the same time so I think I might struggle.

Try Costigans or the Old Oak - probably worth getting in touch before to see if they'll put it on though.

Agree but I don't think Preston are very confident.

Mason-Clark needs a goal. He's only scored one at home this season. We need to see his celebration.

Most of them have gone as 1st goalscorer Simms and one for Ruddoni

They've not done so well recently. Last game Oxford beat them 3-1 away. It's one of them games we should win easily but it's still the Championship where anything can happen

If Oxford can get 3 we should score a few. Not taking anything for granted but this is one of our easiest remaining games left.

Yep. You're right. Our only goal in each 1-0 win.
Hope he scores our third or fourth in that case.

A rare time I disagree with you.

A must win for Middlesbrough and Ipswich. A should win for us. Our home record against their recent record suggests only one result.

This is going to be a different type of game again. I think they will be parking the bus as recent results will suggest that. As long as the crowd stay patient I think we will sneak it by the odd goal. 1-0.

Another physical game , against a team in seemingly free fall & their supporters expecting a thumping.
Let’s just make one last big statement over these , as we won’t be playing them for a good while .

Give the woolshed a call they might put it on in one of the screens for you good sports bar but it might be picture no sound as the champions league commentary would be on more than likely pusb

There are a lot of Preston fans on their forum who share your view

One suggestion on there is that they should play 3-4-1-2

I expect Preston to play a compact low block and try and score with a counter attack. We need to play at pace any slow build up will suit them

This is a game I worry about. Always struggle against Preston, and with teams around us continuing to win, this is a must win, especially with difficult game on Saturday

Another gnarly, uninspiring tough championship game. The type which can define seasons and where we can end up being frustrated and disappointed if we dont win the individual battles first.

Despite their supporters pessimism, as most teams do, they will want to make it as difficult as possible for the league leaders on their home ground.

Expect it to be similar type of game to Stoke - hoping we edge a nervy 1-0 win.

Three points, more goals for Wright to make him top scorer, clean sheet Rushworth.

Anything else is a bonus.

Start as we did against Stoke but get the 2nd goal whilst we are on top and we should be in for a comfortable evening. Selection wise I wouldn't risk Frank, so start the same team (apart from Kitch for Latts) and look to make changes early with Saturday in mind.

I think you play Onyeka in a game like this one. They are bastards and need some hard midfielders to stop them. If his injury is ok of course. I think Eccles deserves to keep his place, he plays well every time but doesn't get a good run often. Torp and BTA aren't showing early season form at the moment. The front 3 have to stay in and back 4 picks itself.

I'm nervous before all games these days but I feel more confident about this one than most recent games. Their form is poor and ours is good, but like any solid run it has to stop and some point.

That said we could just tonk them and get a proper result for the first time for a few months, 4-1

Trickier than people think this

Preston recently drew away at Ipswich and Swansea (who both have great home records) and conceded an injury-time equalizer in both (a dodgy pen at Ipswich of course)

Going to be one of those where if we can break down the deep block early we could hammer them (like Boro did). If not, it will be a slog

Dovin was unregistered to accommodate Onyeka into the 25 man squad

There is an option to re-add him back in should he be fit and we have an injury crisis in goal but it's safe to assume he won't be seen in a matchday squad for the rest of the season

Can't lie I will never feel confident going into any game against PNE

Their performance at Boro the other week was horrific mind you, I think they gifted them every goal they scored

I will be panicking until the final whistle unless we are 3 or 4 nil up. Glad there's only 10 games to go as I don't think my old heart can take much more

Esse in for Tats, they’re physical and that’s all they have going for them. They’ll set up to take 0-0, they’ll time waste from 20 minutes if they haven’t conceded and break up the game every chance they can

We need an early goal or it’ll be Oxford or Stoke in the second half again I fear.

Read an article that stated Lati's ban is for 3 games. Don't necessarily trust the accuracy. Has it been confirmed that it is only one game, as I thought?

It wasn't violent conduct, so I believe it's only the one match ban

Yup.

We may win easily, but it could just as easily, prove to be a very tough game.

I think maybe some are a little overconfident

It could get very physical, so we have to keep our heads and if it's Kitching up against Osmajic, he will especially have to keep his.

I think if we can get a goal early-ish, we will be fine. If not, I think it will be a very tight game and at times, very frustrating, as we try and break them down.

I think we will win, but could very easily see us losing this as well, or only coming away with a draw from it.

I am not at all convinced it's going to be easy.

We should play our best side and rest no-one unless we really have to.
