Same team that started but Kitching for Lati assuming Thomas and Rudoni still out.

Should be enough for a fairly comfortable home win. Preston are dire.

I would hope so. Preston are always very physical.

I also worry about a Osmajić/Kitching matchup. That's a red card waiting to happen

I definitely think we need FTT if he's fit for this one .

It's great that we can have Rudi, Thomas and Lati out, but still put out a strong team and still have options on the bench. Go with our strongest line up, as 3 points v Preston should be a more likely scenario than a tougher game v Saints. One game at a time (and get Bobby and Rudi back asap please!)

We start with our best available 11 and win . No brainer and worry about Southampton when it comes along

Weirdly, I feel more confident against Southampton than I do against Preston. That game will be more open.

Everyone was expecting Ipswich to beat Preston at Portman Road a few weeks ago and they bagged a draw and actually should have won (dodgy penalty to Ipswich at the death)

They will defend really deep and will try and kick lumps out of us. They defended really deep against Ipswich and put an extra player in midfield.

If we go a goal up, I think it would probably be plain sailing, but if we struggle to make the breakthrough for some time, I think it could turn out to be a hard slog.

Mostly the same again. Kitching for Lats. If Onyeka can manage two games in four days bring him in for Torp otherwise rest him fr Soton.

Rushworth
MvE Woolfenden Kitching Dasilva
Torp/Onyeka Grimes
Saka Eccles EMC
Wright

S: Wilson, KKH, Bidwell, Onyeka/Torp, Esse, Markelo, Yang, BTA, Simms.

Agree. But if a choice it’s saints at home and Swansea away over Preston at home.

We need to make sure he's right. Didn't seem to be moving 100% freely when he came on yesterday, we need him for the run in and this type of game at home is not where he's most vital.

We won yesterday and he didn't start. People need to stop acting like Ccfc are shit unless onyenka is involved.

Your team talks would become a bit repetitive ( and short) if you were the gaffer

We have learned to our cost that you never take anything for granted against Preston. Somehow, irrespective of the form they are in they raise their game against us and conversely irrespective of the form we are in we always end up having a shocker against them. The net result is all too obvious.
It is far too important for us to not be in any way complacent and I assume Frank will ensure this. Frank exorcised their hoodoo last year so with the right attitude we should beat them because we are a far better footballing team......but it won't be easy. It never is against them.

Don’t think it’s actually going to be worn is it? Just a promotional thing

Think Torp might be nursing an injury. Onyeka may need to start this. Kitching will almost certainly be the other change to the starting lineup. Otherwise, same team.

Saka and EMC should have energy having only played a half.

Noticed it initially said 4th kit on the website, but then that seems to have been removed.

Glad we didn't offload anyone in the window, really appreciating our squad depth atm. Like Woolf for example, has he shown enough to warrant the £4 million asking price? Probably not but still a great option to be able to call upon when needed and as Lampard says, just gets his head down and works when out of the team. Having players like this around is what will help us over the line, any transfer fee will be paid back multiple times over when we get that Prem wad.
