We were 66/1 on for autos not so long agoPut money on us not to make the playoffs. Will get very nice odds.
I’d say insipid rather than passive. Too many players taking the safe optionJust got back. Passive, slow, devoid of ideas. If only Wright had slotted his one on one home we have scrapped a win.
Weird thing is we’re fine at home usually so why were the full backs held back. Thats what we need to do away.
Librarian!Bookmarked!!
Frank doesn't do subs..The cov fans can see it, why not Frank?I thought we made changes to late, you could see at half time that Eccles was having one of those days and it felt the three in midfield were not progressive enough.
I would like us to have taken off Eccles and brought on Simms and gone two up as they were just defending.
Towards the end I would like us to have really changed it and replaced Grimes with Onyeka just so the players can’t keep cheating and giving it to Grimes.
Wright , 2 in 18, but hey! He is out star striker! Same against Sunderland. Don't question Frank.I’d say insipid rather than passive. Too many players taking the safe option
You will if you go into a shop and ask.You will not find a betting market for that with any bookmaker.
Yea, said lots of positives. Dominated in every way but was just one of those days when the ball wouldn't go in. Oxford sit in a low block and give very few chances away in their recent matches o we actually created more clear chances than he thought we might do before the match.
. . . after being top for quite a while with a ten point gap, I'm worried that suddenly finding ourselves trailing Middlesborough will cause a loss of confidence and a drop in form that could see us out of the top two. I don't want to see a repeat of what happened under Tony Mowbray.
Let’s revisit this at the end of the month. On the odds talk, we're still joint favourites to win the league and favourites for a top 2 finish.
I've just checked on my Betfair exchange account and there is a market (with only £45k volume traded all season so far) we are 1.14 to make the top Six , obviously decimal odds but 1/86 on if you use fractional odds. You will if you go into a shop and ask.

We must be getting close to "I don't have a magic wand" territory.Lampard post match interview bingo:
'We're in a tough moment'
'Hard work is the only way I know out of this'
YupWe didn’t lose. 15 games to go everyone needs to chill the fuck out.
Time for Onyeka to start and the attackers to
step the fuck up.

Yes, can't see anything other than a comfortable Boro win.
However, if we manage to be them (and that's a massive if at the moment), surely it gives us a massive boost.
The one thing I would have done today at the end, was to throw Thomas on up front. Just for the last 10 mins.
Oxford were zero threat at that point and they had been winning headers in their own box all day long
I would have just sent Thomas into the box to be a threat, ruffle a few feathers and be something else for their defence to think about
We had nothing to lose. Simms offered nothing when he came on unfortunately.
Where that posted? There's 3 minutes of him talking to CWR posted not long ago.
I generally agree with Wright playing from a wider position, as it worked for him at Antalyaspor. He seems more of a ‘wide forward’ as such, and not a traditional striker.i assume there's no one left on here who thinks wright is a striker.
he can't head the ball, hold off defenders, or shoot without touching the ball 3 times. oh, and he's PERMANENTLY OFFFUCKINGSIDE.
can we please stick him on the wing where he belongs? or sell him, either is fine by me at the moment. but no more of this striker nonsense, please. it's killing us.
Disagree. We were too slow to get the ball into the danger area. We’re literally playing it about. Wouldn’t matter who we had in the box.
Agree. We cant slate the team today ..im certainly not. Frustrated isnt the word.
But it happens ....we played well. Lacked vital ingredient luck.
Disagree.
We were slow getting it into the box BECAUSE they were winning every header, so we were trying to work it to the byline for cutbacks into the box most of the time , rather than just lump it in.
This was why we were reluctant to just throw high balls in there.
Thomas would have enabled us to do that
I think we all knew after 70 mins this wasnt going to be our day.Agree.
The ball was pinging about their 5 yard box quite a bit and it always seemed to fake to them so they could clear the danger.
We weren't good enough, but we lacked that bit of luck too
We missed a trick with Thomas not being thrown on. They never laid a glove on us we coukd have maybe risked it a bit more.Agree to disagree. In the last 10mins we should have been peppering that box. It went sideways, forward, back, sideways…. We just didn’t throw the kitchen sink at them.
