Eccles ability is beyond his confidence. He can play some great passes but will choose the easy option like he doesn’t believe in himself sometimes. If he could he’d be an excellent midfielder.
I don't feel, from what I see , that he covers enough ground in a game.

Latibeudiere had a similar game to Leicester. Looked nervous initially and made some errors but then got stronger in the latter stages and made some crucial interventions. We have to remember he has been injured most of the season and has had very little game time. Yet he has done enough to start ahead of Woolfenden, which says a lot about his grit and attitude.

Despite our attacking flair down the wings, we have of late had to many passes on the flanks before putting ball into 6 yard box at ths time being out numbered by the opposition defence. It was evident Saturday and again tonight. My opinion only.
Good win tonight though!

With full respect to Lati for his attitude, it’s pretty damning on Woolf who cost us the best part of £4m and can’t start ahead of him.

We’ve got the best forward line in the league and one of the worst back line, we just keep giving away soft goals but we’ve played that way for the last 3 seasons, yet again the subs won’t us the game, and the shit housery from esse ( the little fist pump to the milwall when he scored was class) wer’e going up boys, time to believe

We're top of the league. We don't really miss anyone

Is that now 2 winning goals once subs made?

Squad depth baby!
Once we had 4 subs on the team was no weaker, stronger if anything.

The back line will improve when Lampard plays our best midfield , currently Rudoni isn't helping out at either end

Our defensive record will improve when the midfield improves. The back line will improve when we sign a competent CB.

We've not got one of the worst back lines in the league, give it a rest man

I’ve given up on us defending but I reckon if Thomas plays we don’t concede that goal, da silva isn’t a defender, we’ve conceded almost all our goals from down our left but our tactics are we’ll just score than you

Can you post a stat that backs up the assumption that most of our goals conceded come down that side cause it certainly doesn't feel like it

Have you seen us defend, we should have been 2 down at half time, I might have over exaggerated it’s one of the worst but it’s not the way a team top of the league should be defending, if we. Tightened up we’d be way in front
It's down to the midfield, since Rudoni has returned we are far more open to a counter . When Eccles or BTA has played 10 we have more energy, and crucially , more positional discipline

The last 3 seasons they’ve mostly come down our left, not d silvas fault it’s the way his told to defend, when we go up we’ll get murdered down that side, needs sorting

Why would he not be ready now?

He’s had 2 sub appearances and a 9 game ‘rest’ so why would he not be deemed ready? On my original point, I think we look so much better with him in the team, if he’s fit then I’d use him
Match sharp? Eccles is in great form and is fully fit .
Norwich away is notoriously a difficult fixture so wouldn't look to rush BTA straight back when we have options

We certainly weren't at our best tonight, mainly due to a few players being below par, but you have to admire their grit and desire to win. It says a lot about the character of the team. A lot of City teams in the past wouldn't have come back to win the way we did on Saturday and again tonight.

These comeback wins could make the different between being promoted at the end of the season and just missing out.

Well done lads!

The man himself seems to have regretted it
Did he? Fuck them, he went over to applaud them and they gave him shit so he gave it back.

Their fans were pretty thick, they he can only showboat song after he'd bundle one in over the line was one of the stupidest things i've heard in a while.

Just home after another important win. Haven't had time to catch up with the thread but what a difference BTA makes to us, we've desperately missed him! His pressing and energy, also playing closely to the striker makes us so much better. Helped create chances and space for Wright and that great combo with EMC and Simms near the end, thought he could have squared it, or may have scored on another night, good save and didn't matter in the end. So good to have him back.

Having the chance to bring the subs on that we did for tiring defenders will be crucial for us in the run in, Tats was brilliant.
Pleased for Esse, well followed in for his goal, added confidence for him.

Really think that is a massive 3 points

Firstly, I thought Millwall were a proper side, maybe the 0-4 at their place lowered my expectations of them a little bit but I was very impressed and in my opinion only Ipswich have come to The CBS and had us on the ropes at times more than them - Some good players in there, No. 9 and No. 11 especially - You wouldn’t want to play them over two legs in the play offs in my opinion

Squad depth and having actual game changing options won us the game, good subs from FL - We look 10x the team with Asante on the pitch

We’re all thinking it, Rudoni needs to come out the Starting 11 for a few weeks and his inclusion is starting to be of detriment to the side, he was way off it tonight and throwing himself to the ground enabling their counter attack was infuriating

Hopefully Stoke and PNE do the business against Boro before we play again and Sheff U picking a result up against Ipswich Saturday would be most welcomed
