What a difference it's making already having these options to rotate.

I was surprised not to see Yang though

Would've been a huge gamble to give him his debut in that situation

Seems a bit of an odd signing already tbh, can't see Lampard trusting him with a start if he can't even give him 10 minutes over two matches where EMC is clearly knackered

1.5 pts a game makes 85...I think. Might just be enough

We said it’d be a tough test and it really was, they’re a good team. More uncomfortable than Saturday for larger periods.

I just can’t overlook how we seem to suffer defensively down both wings, seemingly all the time now. We do get off the hook somehow quite a lot of the time.

Middlesbrough would have to got at 1.95 to get to 86. Goal difference is worth a point

Whatever you say about certain player’s performances this evening, particularly Grimes, they don’t stop trying and won’t down tools / give up when up against it or in a battle.

As well as being a bit leggy, I think Grimes is a victim of circumstance at the minute. When your No 10 is camped on the wing, you’re very exposed in the middle of the park.

Thomas coming back in after an enforced rest will be massive for us . Just getting that partnership with Kitching back will make us more secure and more of an attacking threat from set pieces

In all seriousness, Watford had become a heavily wanked over team in recent weeks and Millwall pulled their pants down in their own backyard. It's a huge win and we're through Bobbys suspension now too.

It also really didn't look like it, but on the old xG count it was 2.5-1 in our favour, not far off what it was on Saturday. Even though we're crazy open we're not giving much clear cut away and creating plenty.

Yes to get 2 wins in the league with him out and Lati in is massive.

You've got a player who's used to our system , up to the pace of the game and has strength and physicality in spades to help out at both ends and you don't think it's a gamble to bring on a young player on debut who's been with us a week
We'll agree to disagree on that one

2 games. 2 wins. Bit lucky to get all 3 points on Saturday and tonight. Take it, enjoy it and the dream is one step closer.

I guess things like when the Millwall player had the whole pitch to square it to his striker in but still fucked it don't count towards xG though do they.

Subs spot on again.
Millwall were very decent.
Hopefully Ipswich and Boro are still to go there.

Millwalls form + that 4-0 home battering = a very very tough game tonight.

They are not a high possession team in this league, and will ping us on the transition - something which has arguably been our biggest downfall during the slump.

We are gonna need an answer for that tonight - but sadly think it still means we concede.

2-1 with my sky blue goggles on, but 2-2 if I’m being realistic.
