So to summarise: the season is definitely over although it definitely might not be. Markelo might or might not be on the bench and if he is he is probably useless anyway, or maybe he isn't. Chances are with our form we will either win, lose or draw, but most likely lose as Boro are, or maybe aren't Prime Barcelona.

Frank the Tank will likely start either on the bench or in the starting 11. Esse is great, or maybe he isn't and is better on the right, the left, as a number ten, or maybe some or none of those.

It's my birthday, so the things I would like are

1. A good City win. Even more than usual and with the emphasis on the "good". It has to be better than Oxford!

2. Frank to spring a surprise. And not just a change in the centre-back pairing. Just something, anything, that indicates he appreciates that if you keep knocking out the same stuff do not be surprised if you keep getting the same result

3. Sakamoto on the bench. We have to start getting to the byline

4. Frank the Tank in midfield from the start (bet he doesn't)

5. Rushworth to a) continue to show his potential for taking throw ins and b) NOT be the MOTM

...and before you ask, 73. My first game was v Posh in Oct or Nov 1963, we won 3-2 in front of 29,002. Terry Bly scored.

Logically it was for you. It was part of a 3 game mini-season where you had to triumph in at least 2 games to get direct promotion.

With this game, you get 14 games after it, all of which may well play a part.

Yes actually that was the most stressed ive ever been in a game hahaha

Looking at the bench for the last game potentially Minny drops out of the squad.
But if EMC is in there as well it could be Bidwell out of the squad as well.

Yeah nice problem to have, but when (if) everyone is available and let's say Sakamoto, Rudoni and EMC start, I don't think you can have Esse, Markelo, Yang and BTA all on the bench.

Add in Simms and the keeper that only leaves room for one defender and two midfielders.

So if Markelo is close to making the squad then when everyone is fit I'd say one of him or Yang has to miss out.
