Fingers crossed for 2 draws.I can see two draws.
Things would be extremely tight if that happened - particularly many people's sphincters!!

Preston I'll give you, that's pure sorcery right there. Stone cold Hoodoo.Let's talk about this "Hoodoo"
Hasn't it only been about 4 years or something!?
That is just a "bit of a rough patch"
These are "hoodoo's"
We, CCFC - have NEVER won a league game at Preston in the Whole HISTORY of the club.
We, CCFC haven't won at Norwich in over 20 years.
Now they are hoodoo's!!
Markelo in the squad by the looks of it
Mate, we’ve just thrown away a 10 point lead.As good as our recent form and performances have been, the mentality that this is Boro who never do things the easy way and are prone to kicking you in the knackers is a bloody hard one to shift.
One answer.Rushworth!Just need to sit on Hackney and Whittaker - Conway is an opportunist - PUSB
I do think that having Onyeka in to anchor things, will give Rudoni more time and space to flourish a bit more.I think it will all rely on how we approach the game. Approach it like Ipswich, where we basically let them control the game because we seemed to think they were better than us, we lose. Approach it like recent games with FB's standing on the toes of wingers and midfield so high Grimes is a one man midfield we lose.
However, with Onyeka coming in I think we might find a decent midpoint. Grimes next to him to pull the strings, giving the likes of Rudoni a bit more space (though please get him to stay more central!). They've got a decent midfield though so we need all of them to be at their best.
Ask the FB's to not be quite so cavalier and we've got a decent chance. Still not sure if I'd go with Esse to try and unlock their defence early, or Saka to give us a more solid base. Hopefully EMC is back too. Probably start Wright up front but FL has to be willing to drag him off at half time if he's having a game where he looks like he can't be bothered.
I think every fan of every team has a bit of this. I hear people say this about Cov all the time, also look at Spurs and Arsenal and so many other teams who say they always do it the hard way. I think that's just football. When we were top and seemingly running away with it, I was still convinced we would balls it up. People were constantly putting up stats and facts that said we couldn't fail from here but I think all of us knew we could. As good as our recent form and performances have been, the mentality that this is Boro who never do things the easy way and are prone to kicking you in the knackers is a bloody hard one to shift.
They finished 4thYou forgot about Ipswich
Who finished bottom 3?They finished 4th
We have given up more in the last few weeks.....Just got nervous seeing that we only have an 11 point gap to 7th
The way some people are on here, it could be the last game of the season and we could be 7 points ahead and still some would be very nervous .Just got nervous seeing that we only have an 11 point gap to 7th
Well obviously not. Theres no guarantees on current formThe way some people are on here, it could be the last game of the season and we could be 7 points ahead and still some would be very nervous .
It’s basically 12 but point is validJust got nervous seeing that we only have an 11 point gap to 7th
Would probably also happen if we were top 2Well obviously not. Theres no guarantees on current form
I bet most couldn't give a fuck. Will be a night where most neutrals will be wanting Boro to come here and do a job on us,
We have had the same convo on another thread and you rubbished me for it and I stand by it, maybe I am focusing on the echo chamber of social media too much, but most Championship fans will be wanting us to lose this tonight - A lot of people are taking great delight in our collapseI bet most couldn't give a fuck.

Most of the fans of Championship sides I know out here could not care less . They think we've done wery well till about Dec and can't handle the pressure. We have had the same convo on another thread and you rubbished me for it and I stand by it, maybe I am focusing on the echo chamber of social media too much, but most Championship fans will be wanting us to lose this tonight - A lot of people are taking great delight in our collapse

I hope Lampard and the squad don't have the attitude some supporters seem to have because the current 'we're in an automatic spot' could very quickly become 'we're in the play offs' before coming 'oh shit, we've fucked this right up'.We have given up more in the last few weeks.....

In the pubs before away games, social media, my friendsEncounter where?

From what i see on Twitter/X, firstly, its full of absolute cretins. Secondly those from other clubs that do engage regularly, as well as being stupid generally, seem to judge our whole fan base off of rage bait tweets from the same 5 or so of the absolute worst regular CCFC posters. Those that I encounter couldn't give a fuck except for the mob up the M69 and even they're fairly quiet given their predicament.
Social media is, I'm sorry to say, full of bell ends
