After a very promising start this game is looking like a 0-0 ( i blame the lino)
Hope i'm wrong and we go on to score a hatfull.

Watch the lino give them a decision to win the game now.

Well it’s been a fast paced half. I think that they’ve probably edged it - forwards look strong and defence has struggled at times.

McNulty you have to feel for - easily our best player. At the centre of everything. People will focus on the offside but they had a stonewall penalty.

Probably needs to replace vincenti and also give ponticelli 15 more max.

Haynes didn't get out of his own half there. If that's tactical then we might as well have Stokes on for the better defending and give Grimmer a bit more licence. Biamou for whichever striker tires the most after 60.

This ref is a joke!!

3 times even just in the last 10 mins he told Mansfield players to move back a few yards with the ball for a throw in. The players promptly moved back, the ref gave the thumbs up and then the player on each occasion stole back at least the same yards and probably a few more. Grrr!!!

Someone also needs to tell Steve Evans to get off the pitch!!

He needs to put Jones on the left, their defender will be scared to tackle him

We are putting the ball out of play too often but so are they.
Both sides seem to be edging up the field by virtue of throw ins.

Stonewall penalty? You sure? Hardly a single appeal from any of the Mansfield players to be had.

Very bright start by both teams but increasingly scrappy. Our defence shakier than usual. How they still have 11 on the pitch is beyond me...over the ball, studs showing...ref bottled it. Must put the right back under pressure early second half.
We have some good movement up front but slow play down too often.

Pretty poor half. Mansfield have cut us apart a few times, and we're not really looking threatening from open play. Jones has been very poor, trying to do too muvh. We need to get on the ball further up thr pitch rather than giving it to him on the half way line and expecting him to create something.

Far too sloppy in possession.

Has Haynes's been told not to go forward?

Been very disappointed with Mansfield. Was expecting a bit more than long ball punts. They could have scored a could a couple of times but on the whole their chances have been from miss hits and deflections with players sticking legs out.

The defender made contact with the player - they were all screaming after the balk came off the post - how couldn’t it be a penalty?

It's whatever works for them, their little striker has won most headers

They are the best team I’ve seen here. They play with width and at times we’ve been chasing shadows.

He has. Haven't seen much quality from them considering they splashed the cash. Was expecting a bit more quality, but for the most part it's just long ball punts up field.

You’ve said they play long ball - they’ve got behind our defence more times than the other teams put together!

I agree for first 20/30mins then both sides nightly and scrappy. They have given our defence more problems than any this season.
As for their penalty ...the player didn’t appeal much....went down easy but straight up.

Good open and attacking 10 minutes followed by a poor 35. We’ve lost our way and look really poor defensively which is out of character. Willis has been really poor.

McNultys movement is really good, but we aren’t finding him.

Unfortunately Ponti has been out of the game for the majority of the first half and should have scored. But I wouldn’t put it past him to snatch a chance from nowhere.

Doyle is doing ok, nobody else warrants a mention either way.

He didn't. He barely appealed at all and then decided to have a little bit of an appeal after. Not at all stonewall for me. Think the ref got it right.
