Kelly is neat a tidy but tonight showed us he is no longer at the level we play. Been a great servant.

Really pleased for Simms, not just for tonight but the last few weeks. It's starting to click for him and he seems a nice lad.

Yeah, nice interview from him. Hope he kicks on now. Obviously weak opposition but Simms has been looking decent recently.

Very simplistic way of looking at it. Made the right move at the right time.

I'd start him against WBA.

I was beginning to think the “respect” brigade will be going to bed happy that Maidstone drew 0-0 in the second half, but now I don’t know.

But Sutton!!

I had seen so many shit performances against under dogs over the years. Well done City on a professional performance.

Simms and Palmer will get the plaudits but I thought Kelly had an excellent game. He knows when to play short and when to go long.

Kitching was solid and commanding at the back.

Also Tavares had a good game and took his goals well. Against Wrexham last year got a nasty freak injury. He still has a lot of work to do but that will do his confidence the world of good.

Great lay off by Godden for Tavares 2nd.

Time to focus on WBA now!

How'd he show that, by completely bossing the midfield?

Fucks sake he had to score two. For 80 mins he was sub National League standard.

Well done Robins for keeping Tavares on the pitch. He could have easily taken him off early based on performance. However, he stuck with him and he grabs a brace. Will do wonders for his confidence. His first a great finish and his second, perfect poaching. Special moment for him.

Thought he was top notch. As I said before I know it's Maidstone but he was level headed and calm which is what we need with Sheaf out. I'd play him alongside Torp against West Brom.

Clueless, he's not great on the ball but he picked up so many loose and second balls, exactly what we needed

Not sure how that's a conclusion you can come to against Maidstone in the FA Cup

Best thing about tonight was how up for it we looked from the start.

Very reassuring after the lacklustre effort on Friday

We won , that’s all I was worried about.

Kelly absolutely class in the centre , as he should be against the standard of opposition, but completely controlled the midfield.

Hopefully that gives Simms some confidence now and he puts a few more away.

All in all, a decent night and in the draw!

Hoping Luton do Man City and we gets them in the qtrs

We look so much better organised with Kitching playing, Binks gets dragged around too much I think in comparison.

Nice and professional win. All you could ask for faced with a game like that. Appreciate who the opposition were but Kitching & Thomas has to be our centre back pairing. Credit to Kelly after so long out.

Albeit against weak opposition, Kelly controlled that from start to finish. He’s the ideal replacement in absence of Sheaf for me. Tav was dreadful until his goals. Simms finding his feet now.

Very good TV coverage, really showed up IFollow.

I guess it is what we should have done but then Ipswich thought the same.

It did seem we had laid off a bit in the second half and then they tired so we got a couple extra.

So do we want the big boys to go out in next few days to increase our chances of winning the whole thing?

Kitching is much better than Binks. Not that bothered whether or not we sign Binks.

In fairness to him, he started looking alright when he was put alongside Godden down the middle. He struggled out wide.
