Better than losing to L2 reserves like Ipswich have just doneNo I think squeaking past L1 reserves at home is a great achievement. Completely put my mind at ease.
Hardly squeaked past, should have won more comfortably. No I think squeaking past L1 reserves at home is a great achievement. Completely put my mind at ease.
Just been watching Simms on the stream post-match, and he looks thoroughly dejected.
Just appraising what I saw on the pitch. Some good. Some awful.Give it a rest you clown
Bromley beat Ipswich
Scored the winnerWell you Simms lovers, what do you think about that performance should have had a hat trick.

That's amazing from rapha
It's too dramatic. Simms has just been brought round after being cryogenically frozen in 1972. He'll come good once he's back up to room temperature. I wanted to nickname him Udon because if you watch him trying to win a long ball you'd have better luck just chucking a Pot Noodle at the ball. Arms and legs everywhere but 0 chance of getting the ball. Everyone else has a got a GPS tracker in their sports vest but Simms has got a little sachet of spices in his.Its not elevator music, its the theme tune from Dragon Ball Z
The goals are coming, that's two in two appearances for the ladI hope FL puts his arm around his shoulder and tells him that, if he carries on playing like that, the goals will surely come.
It almost breaks my heart to see Simms looking so down. He worked hard tonight and did some good stuff. I really want the goals to start coming for him, as much for his sake as the team's.

He put himself about tonight , made good runs second half and got in the right areas . He's not far away from getting on a run like he's done beforeThe goals are coming, that's two in two appearances for the lad

But I didn't Simms did , you sound disappointed that he scored ?Yeah a Tapping in, even you could have scored that.
Even I could have scored it. The difference is, I'd never have been in the right place to do it in the first place.Yeah a Tapping in, even you could have scored that.
I think the comments about Simms are not what was seen on the pitch, just ridiculous hyperbole about the current scapegoatJust appraising what I saw on the pitch. Some good. Some awful.
If you had a higher quality player with the similar attributes of Rapha, he’d start ahead of Sakamoto imo.Certainly not going to replace Saka but there are aspect of his game that are admirable and we don’t have any similar style players. I feel like he’d struggle against a decent quality Champ fullback.

Not at all. I’d love to see him score hatfuls of goals. It’s a match thread. He was awful against very very mediocre opposition. Nothing against him. Just a view on the game.I think the comments about Simms are not what was seen on the pitch, just ridiculous hyperbole about the current scapegoat
He played wellBrau looks trash
I get the anger towards those jeering Simms, it was moronic, but let's look at this sensibly and not go too far the other way.
Whilst he scored a goal, which I am happy about, he still missed a lot of chances and didn't really look that good. Him and BTA are two equally frustrating players for different reasons. One annoys you and the other one then looks better, then switch back and repeat. It's like an alternating pattern and I feel some people are too keen to overcompensate some times.
I still think we need better this season than both of them if I am perfectly honest.
Still, we won and I'll take it every day.
He played well, but the Simms haters out in force. Another day, he scores 3, he hasn't played for months. Not at all. I’d love to see him score hatfuls of goals. It’s a match thread. He was awful against very very mediocre opposition. Nothing against him. Just a view on the game.
Scapegoat indeed, I heard a group of lads slagging him off on Saturday even though he hadn’t even played.I think the comments about Simms are not what was seen on the pitch, just ridiculous hyperbole about the current scapegoat
