Latibeaudiere is our best defender. Fight me.

I assumed he didn't give the EMC penalty, not because of the contact, but because he felt the ball was too close to the keeper already?

See what happens when you play a CM alongside Grimes in the middle. It sures up the midfield and makes it difficult for the opposition to create chances. In the first half our midfield were too high up the pitch and were all at sea.

I didn’t comment much during the game a) because I was watching it, and b) because people, you really need to stop losing your shit at the first sign something happens you don’t like

there were loads of positives, including the fact we’ve beaten a decent team when not playing at 100%, but also BTA looked good when he came on, I thought Haji looked very good off the ball too and definitely up for it, Esse will be just what we need, and even Lati after the first shaky ten or so looked strong.

Simms strong, and scored, EMC upped his game,
Rudoni got better as the game went on….

let’s see what the next few games bring, but in my opinion as long as nothing catastrophic happens we’ll be just fine 👍🏼🩵 🏆

have to say, Dan Neil alongside Grimes with the ability to play Torp higher up, or bring him on depending on the game, would be the last piece of the jigsaw I think

Well, thank fuck for that. Really pulled our fingers out in the second half, whatever Lampard said or did at halftime clearly worked.

I was saying to the guy next to me at halftime that the reason I was so angry is that I could tell this lot are shit, they're weak, they'll wilt if we stand up to them or go at them and that's what ultimately happened. After Simms' goal they looked bothered and rattled, and we managed to see it through.

Fair fucking play to Wright. Looked like the wrecking machine version of himself we've all missed and made a huge difference. Thrilled he got such a big goal and hopefully that will sort his confidence. Rushworth an utter legend for holding firm at the end too.

Oh, and having said similar after the Birmingham match: I am now convinced that no referee will ever give a penalty for anything other than a defender taking out an attacker with their feet. It really does seem to be that you can do whatever you want with an attacker who is goalside of you as long as you don't use your feet, both the Wright and EMC shouts looked stonewall.

Lampard has some serious questions to answer.
Question 1: "Frank, why are you such a fucking legend?"
