Ain’t happening, he’s already got a bog standard chant

What’s his chant? The Pompey Yang will tear you apart one?

Simms started over him at Birmingham and scored, as well as scoring vs Charlton. Wright did nothing to earn the place back last weekend, don't see why Lampard would change? The new pecking order seems to be established to me.
Yeah, the fact Simms didn't start in a much changed team would point to him being seen as the first choice for now.

Simms deserves to be staring ahead of a Wright. He’s a striker and scoring goals.

My concern is going to be Woolf and Kitch as a CB pairing. 2 slow CBs.

I think we'll be ok if they play Ayew up top. Issues start if MVE or JDS are out of position when our attacks break down. Woolf or Kitch chasing Mavididi or Fatawu is worrying.

Same formation we played in the cup when we paired them (even would argue games like Wednesday when we played BTA and Wright). Wouldnt put them in a 3-5-2 mind
Wouldn't even consider it

Rushworth
MVE - Woolf - Kitch - Dasilva
Grimes - Torp/Eccles
Esse/Saka - Rudoni - EMC
Simms

Only questions about the starting 11 for me are if Torp is fit and whether you put Esse straight in.

Would you not stick BTA in if fit?

Who is better, Woolf or Lati? Lati, as he is not the fastest, has this habit of falling on the ball if it looks like the opposition has the better of him, and thus far it worked about 40% of the time.

Great - Ghana national team boss possibly there Saturday.
Queue Ayew and Fatawu actually trying hard for the full game to impress him!

Thought Lati looked very worrying vs Charlton. Wouldn’t pick him in a back 4, Woolf hasn’t been great either but would still be my pick.

Yeh Woolf is meh but Lati was exactly as i remember at Charlton. A total bomb scare.

Ayew is crap anyway and Fatawu is always someone you need to keep an eye on. Probably the best player in the league honestly who i was hoping might have left by now.

Let's hope Fatawu tries too hard like last time and gets sent off.

Ayew can try hard but he still can't run anymore.

But in all seriousness if they can't try for a local derby even if the national manager is there then they won't ever try.
