Just had a look at the championship top scorer chart.
His minute per goal is 74.
No one else comes close

Out of the top 10 scorers 4 of them play for us. But to me it's more impressive that to go with Simms we also have the second and third least minutes per goal scored.

And add to this we still have a bigger GD than any other side have actually scored goals.

Each to their own. Personally this 59yr old wants our name on that famous trophy, a victory parade & a day on the lash with my mates.

He’s a strange player to me. As Gordon Strachan once said he’s a world beater one minute and a carpet beater the next. I just can’t figure him out.

. Nah.. he's an out and out star and improving all the time. He's a beast with finesse..

Simms has looked dominant in the air during the last 2 games. Where has this come from? I hope he keeps his place going forward. He has improved so much.

Looks like hes been reborn lately.
Long may his fine form continue.

Its not just his goals that are impressive, his work rate has improved 100% too.

He’s been brilliant last few outings.
While I’ve never really thought he didn’t work hard, he seems to be on to their players quicker for sure.
It’s almost like he wasn’t shite after all!

There was a handful Charlton fans near the old pizza hut roundabout who hadn't taken the loss Berkswell. Hope they have a lovely journey home.

I know it’s an autocorrect thing but this one really got me . Unless you meant it and they’re really lost.

When Wright’s back you could just as easily start him down the middle alongside Simms, as was originally intended

So what would our line up look like 442? Would be hard to get Grimes, Rudi, Torp and Saka into that formation

I'm with you on that.
Typical Coventry to win Division 1 during covid, a once in a century pandemic, which meant fans missing live games and all the celebrations that came with our great form, missing a proper trophy celebration, and a great victory parade.
We're owed...and i want it all.

Had Simms been on against Sunderland, would he have scored that header Haji had at the end?

I want the title and all the pomp and celebrations that go with it. I'm actually not that fussed about playing in the prem, likely getting shit on every week

Most wingers want the ball in front of them and to face up to the defender and take it from there.
He seems happiest holding it up with his back to his man like an old fashioned no 9 and then seeing if he can fashion something.

I think he can do both to be honest. But his ability to bring others into play such as Dasilva is very useful, as shown a couple of times in the first half today.

He only had 6 all year, so highly doubful. Ellis got his first at home under Lampard just last week. It's funny what you can do when you try, now he's jumping like Zebedee!

Just utterly ruthless, controlled 3 points.

huge couple of weeks now Ipswich, Preston, Bristol and Saints - 6/12 points be enough, but want more!

just about calmed down after that refereeing decision on MVE - beyond speechless, stonewall red and pen as you will ever ever see.

BTA is a blow need tats back next week ideally.

He seems to be fulfilling his potential alright…finally using his physical attributes but also winning headers (which you’d have thought was a given) and showing some decent touches.
Gotta be coaching right?
