We pretty much coasted that game. Some excellent performances. My only gripe is Woolfenden's performance. He is far too casual, slows the game down when he doesn't need to and takes needless extra touches which he just about got away with. Not really fair given his lack of game time but I haven't been impressed by him so far.

I think if you’re honest, if 3 of our regular back 4 weren’t out against Wrexham we get at least a point there.

Had to work hard for that but what impressed me most was the purposeful recycling of possession. Always getting out of tight spaces, creating openings and prising open a tight defence.

Another very impressive performance from Simms for me who’s in a rich vein of form and leading well from the front. Grimes narrowly MOTM ahead of him for me.
