Playing Doyle and Ogogo in the same team is like playing with ten men. I’m not doubting their abilities but they just do the same thing. At least a Doyle/Kelly partnership has a bit of variation with Doyle breaking down play and Kelly getting forward.
Until Kelly is match for we must surely revert to 4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1 with playing Doyle/Ogogo in the centre with Bayliss and then have Andreu play just off whichever striker we pick (who can’t score)
At the moment all we do is invite pressure on to the defence which is crazy considering we have two suspect full backs and the two defensive midfielders often caught in no man’s land
