Saw this a few weeks ago. One of my mates saw his long passed dad on it!
Also interesting to see Caludon Castle school much as i remember it.

Didn't realise we were twinned with Saint Etienne- perfect excuse to nab one of their 1970s shirts...

It's an odd thing to notice, but I thought generally that the people being interviewed looked healthier and certainly better dressed than if you did something similar now.

I'm sure I've read that in some ways rationing (which would have not long finished?) was a lot healthier as it limited fat and sugar intake, meant more homegrown fruit and veg etc.

Wouldn't have fancied walking under all those cars using leaded petrol though, and looks like smoking was still mandatory, so swings and roundabouts.

Definitely some dapper lads and lasses in it, great barnets too.
