The away kit features Sky Blue to show support

Coventry Rugby is delighted to announce that the new home and away playing shirts for the 2022/23 are here! A brand new navy-blue home shirt, and a classical, Coventry sky-blue away jersey are available to purchase from the club shop.

Love that video. They do a good job marketing the club on presumably a very small budget. For a few years now they’ve been pushing the ‘out city’ thing.
Coventry Rugby prides itself as a community-based club, and have taken the decision to donate £5 of each 2022/23 match replica shirt purchase to the Coventry Rugby Foundation
Something beautiful about this being announced at the same time Wasps are in the news for shutting their community arm but still accepting donations.

It must be a strange world in the rugby championship these days.

Have the best season of your life and your reward would probably be to lose your players to above and stick at the same level.

Those I know at Pirates are not pleased.

It is. And is why Cov are concentrating on the ground rather than the team (budget-wise) for the time being.
Pirates realistically don't have a chance of elevation without moving to a footy ground in Devon, especially now the CCC have withdrawn from paying for their new ground (or a substantial proportion of it).
They're now going to have to go down the same route as Cov and start with a basic facility and then build out with the help of commercial concerns (at a rough guess).

Shame the stadium for Cornwall never got built. Would have given them and Truro a good chance of progressing.

They say they still intend to build it, but with a more pragmatic approach now they're not getting a good chunk of it funded from my and your pocket.
Something Wasps might be better advised to consider?

Don't forget about Cov vs Moseley friendly today. Especially as there is no CCFC match to go to ko 3pm at the BPA 👍

That's a fixture that brings back some memories of better days for both clubs

Cheers 👍

Great holiday in Croatia, followed by covid, followed by loads of work to catch up on. All good but posting on this site hasn't been a priority 😊

I'll be there. It'll be interesting to see the Sky Blues taking on Dennis the Menace (especially with Knoxy in their side 😉).
