perhaps we better get some legal advice 1st to see what we can take em to court 1st
as long as we have something to take em i think we should take them, simply because they deserve the bad publicity and they have ruined our anniversary so lets ruin theirs. win or loose i don't think is important it would get the needed publicity and who knows they may wake up and smell the coffee grow a pair stand up to hedge funds and over dodgy cunts wanting to rape footbal and stop this happen to any other clubs again in the future.

The first thing is to seek appropraite advice to see where the FL stand - not sure what you mean by the move saving us money - bizarre!

Sorry, I mean 'us' the fans. None of us are going now. Money saved. How can we the fans take them to court when we aren't owed anything. Nothing legally has been done wrong to us. 'We' aren't the club. Wouldn't the courts just say "who are you then?" It would be like sueing a movie company because we didn't like a film and didn't even go to see it.
Maybe I'm totally misunderstanding the thread.

i think you are missing the point. if their was a case to get to court, however weak i thinks it worth giving them the agro and bad publicity they deserve. win or loose doesn't matter, its making a point for the fans and not just cov fans
it might be a big IF , but its definitely an avenue worth looking at though.
This was my point (ish)- even if there is little chance of success, or evening getting anything to court, at least we should explore it to at the very least give the FL as much bad publicity as possible. After all our media is normallt pretty good at this kind of story!

If you explore it without any hope of it getting to court, all you do is hand over a cheque to a solicitor.

Problem is they haven't broken their own rules, at the end of their rules they just say basically if our rules don't fit the outcome we want we'll disregard them.
To get into the litigation game would cost an awful lot of money and the chances of winning are slim. Agreed though, we do need to expose these spineless lot for the good of future football. It's obvious they can't govern themselves and have no right to judge whether anyone is fit and proper.

I've said before there must be a CCFC supporting lawyer that can sort this out. Can't cost that much to start action against them, even if there's little chance of winning I could see it getting a fair bit of press and being very embarassing for the league. Can't we as fans claim beneficial ownership of the club having put thousands in over the years?
I suspect that the biggest losses would be incurred by the PSL holders. Maybe if they made the claim they would have the best chance winning?

It needs an individual fan perhaps a disabled fan who or youngster who can't physically get to Northampton to sue the FL for dereliction of duty, there appears to be a whole load of rules that haven't been followed. May not win but would keep this issue in tne national public eye.

It isn't a contract of employment. As much as it's a terrible act by Sisu they've never suggested CCFC would play at the Ricoh this season.
