That's that then. New trousers for Sisu as they have been well and truly pulled down. What happens now?

We’re back underway and chairman Coun Joe Clifford is reading out the committee’s six findings.
1) The question of whether the investigator’s report was flawed:”We find the investigator’s report was sufficient for the purpose of establishing whether any breaches of the council’s code of conduct had occurred.

The panel don't get made redundant

I don't think there is anybody who didn't expect that to be found.

I don't think I have, the same as I haven't done any protest (council or SISU).

I tend to watch the game.

I am also not a councillor or council leader.

No more money available for the team, of course, but more thousands pissed away on fancy lawyers arguing a case they could never win. They will always be the winners as they would never turn down a brief, no matter how ridiculous, as long as there was enough money in it.

Shocking result

Not sure how anyone can read the councils code of conduct and not come to the conclusion that it has been breached. Two of the main things are honesty and openness and we've had neither of them for a start!

The whole thing is ridiculous and a complete waste of time. No idea how they get away with it time after time.

Given that the conclusion was nailed on short of something truly outrageous having been done by CCC what do you think the point of this costly and doomed to failure action was?

If I was SISU, and read this forum, I would begin to consider moving the club away.

1. The city's council seem hellbent of destroying the club
2. A section of CCFC fans now support a club moving from its city if a case can be made from the business side of things
3. As above but nomads
4. We could hand out free tickets to the locals, which is now fair game as well.

Surprised that that careerist twat Gannon had time to sit on the panel, he's usually too busy tweeting complaints about Corbyn and the other nasty socialists who support him and Labour.

It would probably be a more valid question to ask rather than who was right or wrong.

(although as an aside, would the costs for something like this be overmuch? This seems Vanerama League level compared to the rest!)

Costly? I don't think so, it wasn't a day at court.

You're also speculating though aren't you? You are not privvy to all the details. You're not Joy or Ann? You say SISU never made an offer even though Joy met Ann in Mayfair. Now was an offer made during that meeting? Can you say categorically there was or wasn't? What if Joy made an offer but Ann didn't think it was acceptable? The whole situation is what ifs, buts and maybes. This is why an inquiry is needed. Something isn't right about it all. Long as SISU get bashed though hey? What you all have to realise is SISU don't get bashed. The club and fans do.

This may come as a shock to you but a council is not a dictatorship it's a democracy. Which means that should an offer had been placed it would have been approved or disapproved at a full council meeting as the Wasps offer had to be. So no it's not supposition to say there was no offer. We've seen what happens when an offer is made.

What information, there was nothing of substance, just ridiculous claims that would never stand up in court & a bit of 'loutish' behaviour by someone who should have known better. SISU have been screaming conspiracy for years & paying for massively expensive Lawyers & Barristers to put their case without getting anywhere. I repeat the question, what is the point of the action if is not going to achieve anything other than better PR.

Turned up with a Lawyer and a ton of 'evidence', some of which recently submitted according to CT, not to mention the presence of Deering & Sepalla, that all costs money.

In the hope that people can distinguish between right and wrong. Or is that only applicable to SISU. Some people seem very reluctant to bestow any blame upon the council. Always seems to be but SISU did this or that. Or if SISU had done this or had done that. That can be applied to CCC too. All I know is there all wankers that have only thought of themselves throughout this whole mess. They have all done wrong. In an ideal world we could lock them all up together to carry on with their petty squabbling while we follow our club. Unfortunately this won't happen.

Would the same apply to an offer not formally submitted? For example if Joy said to Ann we want ACL for £5m and Ann told her no chance does that count as an offer?

That's what I was trying to say. If Joy make unofficial offers to see how the land lied but was basically told where to go it would never happen. None of us can know that for sure but it don't suit Tony's argument so we best shut up.

The underlying theme is that Sisu are losers.
The sooner they move on the more we can get on with the football.

Sisu or the club are losers? It's the club and fans that have lost the stadium built for us. The only thing sisu are losing is money. That I'm sure they can live with. As said before people are happy because they believe sisu are being beat but they aint the club and fans are being beat. Your comment proves that you just want sisu to be beat tho.

If she then put it in writing, made it known she had, and also any "conditions" she added, it would have been an offer, and it may have shown SISU in a better light perhaps? Also, given CCC something to decide on.

Personally, I think if she had made an offer, even verbally, Timmy would have made the most of the news.... Did that happen?
