Er, I think it's The Ricoh that us the "farcical, embarrassing, destructive, mythical stadium" - the myth being that the would ever be enough Sky Blues fans wealthy, loyal or committed enough to fill it on a regular basis, regardless of the division we played in or the style of play. Good luck to Wasps and ACL, let's genuinely wish them well and move on after a period of rental with a better build more suitable for the now totally proven number or real, true, relevant fans, and sack off the rest of the useless pointless fickle hangers on who have been part of the problem blighting this Club all along. Now the commercial rifts are healing and the rancour between the businesses is fading there's no barrier to the Council and The Club playing ball and arranging planning consent for a decent Coventry Location for "Highfield Road II".

What property does it own that it rents out? So you're defining an investment company as any company that rents out a property. If a hairdresser rents their chairs out is that an investment company?

It rents out the buildings and facilities of the "Ricoh" - what do you think it does and gets it's income

If the sole activity of the Hairdresser is to simply provide rented chairs he certainly is not a trading business

So, by your reckoning the hairdresser is an investment company.

A hairdresser can also be an investment business

If he is not cutting hair he is not a trading hairdresser

If he rents out spare chairs ancilliary to being a haidresser then he is probably still a hairdresser

Does this apply to you ? It of course does not constitute advice and you would need to get an opinion based on more detail lol

I think they've said in the past that it will be paid for by retail giants in a joint venture. A bit like how Tesco's got on board with the Ricoh project.

It's a good job that Tesco's are still posting big profits with 100% accurate forecasts and a share price going through the roof, oh wait? Oh well, I'm sure that they can get Aldi on board or another of the retailers that are doing well, poundland maybe? Does anyone know of an abandoned Woolworths anywhere with an old car park at the side in the Coventry "area"?. If you do can you let Sandra Garlic know at the next forum. Cheers.

Actually I am rather ashamed and embarrassed that I've been drawn into a dialogue of this nature. I apologise to all that have wasted their time on the recent postings on this thread.

So we are all arguing over something we no nothing about?

Is it a good deal
For CCC, Higgs and ACL?
For CCFC?
For CCC, Higgs, ACL and CCFC?
For the Fans of CCFC?
For the Wasps?
For Coventry?
For everyone?
OR
Is it a bad Deal for all the above?

None of us know any of this, if we want to fight we need to know what we are fighting for?

Do Sisu actually want the Ground?
Do Sisu actually have the money to pay for it?
Are Sisu secretly involved?

TBF they haven't given a shit up to now, have held everyone in contempt and still do not say what they want.

So has anyone come up with a plan yet when are we going to hold a protest?

If the council are meeting on Thursday to agree this deal should we not be there in force?

Need to stop all this shit and get something sorted I await your call.........

I have been accused of being a ACL/CCC apologist!! No just felt Sisu were more to blame, if this has shifted I am more then willing to shift my opinion.

Shame more couldn't have done this earlier.

My only concern is CCFC and keeping it in My City........

Think ALDI have announced an expansion of around 200 new stores in the coming years.

Clearly I was being sarcastic hence the "oh wait" comment at the end and then going on to talk about the retailers that are doing well currently as potential partners for SISU and the stadium of joy. I may have trouble finding a pulse from time to time but at least I have an idea where to look for it. Unlike you it seems.

Is this actually a Coventry City forum?

The fact that some come out with excuses for this happening is disgusting. Especially considering the meltdown about the prospect of ccfc being franchised.

Haha, have you only just realised?! I am hoping that they are just 'plants' for the sake of our club! It'd hard to imagine other clubs having this 5%. Also I see that there is the new belief that we don't know all the facts so we should wait and see hahaha!

Again, sarcasm. You're really struggling with this aren't you. Perhaps it's because you don't have a sense of humour.

I keep pointing out the fact about a team being moved miles and miles but some still seem ok about it. It's strange. It's as if some would be happy for the club to go under just so they can be happy sisu lost money. I say some, I mean a couple of strange ones.
