I see lots of opportunities we are missing.
Advertising should increase on the back of Wasps as it is now seen twice. However talk of new stadium and moving to Northampton has made businesses think twice.
The club shop is a disaster as we know.
I'd like to know what incomes we get from the Ricoh so I know where to spend my money.
Simple things that I noticed today to encourage the family experience. That little 6 year old girl mentioned on the PA as she ran out and put the matchball on the spot. Ahhh .... Simple.

Wasps/Rugby must be making a fortune on bar and food as it serves all match. All helped by drinking in your seats of course.

What advertising? Pitchside? As far is in aware CCFC and wasps each sell their own and they get changed for each match. Why would talk of the new stadium make business think twice? They don't tend to agree a 10 year Pitchside advertising deal

The girl with the ball? Isn't that similar to us having 2-3 mascots every game?

If you go to see any sporting event in the US they have mobile merchandise stores all round the ground to make sure they aren't missing any potential customer. It's not a bad idea. The shop was always busy but how many people couldn't be bother to walk round to it or didn't go in as it was busy? Ideally we'd have both but we can cope without a shop if appropriate alternatives are available on matchday.

That's probably because most sports teams in the US are franchises who don't own the stadium.

Thats all minimal stuff that, having heard the strides that they have made so far. I am sure they will iron out in the short term.

I wish our problems we as trivial as not being able to get a cup of tea or "only" one real ale bar on.

The point I'm making is that I am unaware of whats going on with kids football teams for the football. Poor announcements or just going on without commentary.
Perhaps sometimes a quick announcement and then the announcer appears to chat to his mates or moves on.
The whole stadium new and clapped when that little girl walked that ball on by herself and it must have been practiced.
It's very small but, easy to do, cost nothing and makes the difference.

There's a PA doing nothing. Get someone on it and tell us whats going on.
We used to have a local marching brass band and cheerleaders. Even the fan shooting for money flanked by casino girls is entertaining.

I heard the other week that there were local football teams (he reeled off a list) at the game while they walked around the outside of the pitch.....

There are kids holding flags waving the players out (if it is a school they usually announce it too)

They had some kids announce the team too didn't they?

Like I said, you hear and see what you want to.

I do wish I could sometimes block out JD when he speaks though

I think one or two shops in the Tesco bit have closed, for me they would be a perfect size for us.

The catering side has always been an issue, even for us at the Ricoh. The main problem they have is that its outsourced to Compass.... Good luck with improving it!!

Only when people can't read entrance and exit signs and act surprised when a door hits them in the face

the real Issue here Is unfortunately people leave their entry Into the pitch side very late while filling themselves with various cravings .

I'm guilty sometimes but when on my own or with the little fella I much prefer to get In early and get close to the pitch watch them warm up attempt to encourage .

Better still catch the ear of the ref during his warm up and plead for sympathy ,tell him how cruel the previous one has been .

I don't think that's what that hand signal to the ref means....
