No sign of an end to the transfer embargo, offers in for most of our players, no solid contract offers to players out of contract and talk of a massively reduced budget.

Could this all be evidence that SISU are intending to sell off the entire squad (or anyone who would attract offers) and then put the club into liquidation/admin? Until the transfer embargo is ended, new players are brought in and players being linked with leaving the club categorically state that they will be staying, I simply do not believe anything Fisher, Maggott or any of SISU say. I honestly think AT is being duped and has no idea of their real plans which point to the club being wound up and us not even starting the season as we will not have 11 players to put on the pitch. Some might say this is a conspiracy theory but the evidence is mounting up. Fans deserve some real answers.

Somebody, somewhere has to come out of the shadows and tell us what the hell is going on. But who? It's so depressing reading this forum everyday. Somehow, we have to unite the fans and start to get some real answers here. What the hell are the FL doing about this situation. Gross mismanagement of our club possibly leading to us going out of business. What the hell is the fit and proper test meant to mean if the FL can't act on it? There is no way on earth that this bunch of lying con men are anyway near fit and proper to run this football club. Truly dreadful times.

Well some of us have been insanely ranting about it for ages...I think I'll have an aneurysm if this goes on much longer :mad:

If you were aware that one of the highest ranked sisu operatives within the club had sent a text to Hoffman to the effect"all for sale " prior to the Southampton game,Just how would you interpret the state of things,and the purpose of sending such a text.:thinking about:

Could SISU be running the club down? Yes.

Is there any evidence of it? No. Evidence of offers for players is not evidence of a fire sale.

Isn't it tomorrow we have some kind of deadline from the football league about next season? Maybe things will be a little clearer tomorrow and it just happens to be Thursday :whistle:

The latest statements from Waggott on the Offal about Financial Fair Play are relevant here:

"Gross sales of tickets, both season tickets and match tickets, count towards so it is really important people buy season tickets and get behind the club and it has been great to see them doing that.

"Eligible income isn't just turnover so we need to make sure we hit that balance. It is all about that balance so we can operate with an affordable squad.

"I don't really want to say this at this juncture, but if we don't hit that 65% target, then they will impose sanctions which could include us being back under another transfer embargo next season."


He is basically saying buy your season tickets, or we cannot get any players even if we could afford them because we will break the FFP rules and be back under a transfer embargo (assuming we ever get out of the current one).


Is this part of a bigger campaign to squeeze a bit more money out of the club before liquidating it?



There could be a more innocent and noble explanation - that he is just trying to make clear to fans the financial realities faced by the club - but innocence and nobility are not virtues that I can associate with our owners!

Im sick of all this now, Ive got total sisu fatigue, whats the point of all this anymore? what has any of all this stuff got to do with sport? This is supposed to be our outlet and enjoyment after a hard weeks work. WTF. I have had enough of this shambles, until this lot is sorted out by people who know what they are doing im throwing the towel in ,im not spending anymore money on this circus, Ive decided its just not worth it.What fooking planet are this lot on.

Is there any way that we can force the FL to make Sisu issue a statement of fact, ie where we are now ( budgets/balance sheets/ profit and loss for last year) and a statement of intent for next season, with caveats to cover the possible outcomes from the talks with ACL ?

I mean, bottom line is.... There are only two general outcomes- either a share or no share-so why can't they submit (issue) tentative budgets based on the worst case scenarios?

The thing is JHC, the club has just stagnated for such a long time, accepting the safe options of mediocrity and just getting by. Smaller clubs have passed us by and are now enjoying success (Stoke, Wigan, Swansea, Blackpool, Reading to name but a few), whilst we perpetually sat in the bottom half of an average division. Now, we find ourselves not good enough to even achieve that, and it's difficult to see a Hill-esque revitalisation of the club to achieve the success we have waited longer than any other set of fans to see. Usually I'd agree that the long term view is best, but when it comes to CCFC and SISU, our club has suffered for far too long with its negative, can't do mentality, and needs rid of these people as soon as possible. We all want to see a successful, proactive football club, and we just won't get it with them in charge.

The whole squad is up for sale guys. I know this for a fact. Dark times, sisu couldnt give a flying fuck aslong as they get what they want!

HMRCs deadline for accounts to be filed is 16 June. I don't expect ANYTHING from SISU until that date. They are past masters at brinkmanship - they are infamous for it! Lets hope the Hoff comes in with an offer otherwise better start looking elsewhere for entertainment - as Cov WILL go

League Agm today + tommorrow i think ,does that not mean submission of budgetry plan for the season ,which involves audited accounts to be approved/

Hi Fellas.
I think, it goes without saying that SISU have never had any desire to take this club Back to the Heady Heights of the premiership, or even the Championship For that matter,Ownership of the Ricoh site is their main, nay, only priority,As 40,000 plus attended a pop concert at the popular venue this week, there must have been much cursing and gnashing of teeth in the Sisu Dungeon, at their inability to get a slice of the action.
It remains my only source of pleasure that these imposters have so far, failed to achieve their one and only goal, of owning all or part of the stadium.
For those, who insist that ownership of the Ricoh would bring revenue for new players, I respectfully add that Sisus performance over the last 5 seasons, indicates nothing of the sort.
When we can get rid of these"Hounds of Hell" it will be like waking from a sickening nightmare.

As you know im not the sort to start rumours but i have been told that the whole squad is ensentially on the transfer market, any reasonable offers will be accepted for any player. People need to realise just how bad the situation is and just what we are dealing with as regards sisu and too many people just sit back thinking it will all be ok in the end. This is why we started the group in February! i'd rather start agin than this death by 1000 cuts

To be fair I think this has been the case for the last 3 years with SISU. We have always known any offer (reasonable or not) for anyone will be considered.

100k for Mcpake if true is outrageous especially if we are to get 800k -1 million for Bigi and the same for Keogh. It has to be 500k for McPake looking at the way he played for Cov the odd time he was fit and the impact he made in Scotland.

The biggest question and the biggest focus now should be whenever whoever takes half the stadium be it SISU or not. That we get the signings to get a squad that is competitive, somewhere between 7-11 experienced players.

How do we get the bandwagon going in the media to get it out there that anything less than this will not be competitive.

If competitive is in the contractual agreement we need to define what competitive should be.

Dongon why or how do you expect the Council to be able to stipulate in fine terms what is competative ie;quantiy of players /over say quality of players ,surely the only stipulation that could be inserted could be based on a percentage of any gain of income through access to streams /profits from taking the 50% which all season OSB has stated would be minimal to negligable,it really is'nt so cut and dried that any deal can be done .I re-read councillor Muttons remarks in the article where TF answers the seven points in the CT and he did'nt and has'nt since indicated that the Council will roll over and other bidders would be considered if they could fullfil the investment and job creating element of project CNR.

No doubt SISU would like to sell but for how much?

Thought FFP rules did not come into play until 2014?
