Could next 3 weeks define our season ? (1 Viewer)

3 winnable, perhaps even must win matches to come next week followed
by a little weekend break and then 2 games back to back at home against perhaps our biggest promotion rivals as good as scenario you could get really. Will be 12 days into the transfer window by the Walsall match and I would expect as a minimum a decent centre half to be recruited and maybe others. As said a crucial 3 weeks to come 13 points would be nice!

Don't like these. ;)

Every time a thread comes up about the next 3 or 4 games and how it can define us, or how many points we should be able to achieve it all goes pear shaped on the pitch.

You're right of course, it could, but could you just please keep your voice down and restrict it to a whisper!!

We don't have Turner or Reda at the back, our strikers are misfiring, Cole still can't last 90 minutes, and we don't have a reliable goalkeeper. Other teams seem to have figured us out. Sorry to be a downer, but I think we'll be lucky to maintain our current position in the table.

I would agree based on what's happened since Gillingham but I'm hoping it's the blip most people seem to think it is

Should have beat Doncaster if not for individual errors. Should have beat Oldham if not for a last minute equaliser/GK error. Should have at LEAST drew with Blunts if not for terrible refereeing decisions...

I don't think this is a case of us being found out - it is just a blip. Stay positive.

But then on the other side of the coin, Ricketts is back in, Cole will be one game fitter and now we have Maddison back. Glass half full vs glass half empty.

Next 5 games we now need a minimum of 10 -points to be in the mix for autos
the next 3 are all winnable - but as we have shown recently none are guarantees
I think we will beat port vale, beat chesterfield, but then struggle against crewe

The burton and walsall games would then be real 6 pointers for the autos - lose both, and playoffs max. Win both and we are back fighting for top spot

5 games in 23 days - the league table will then not change massively before the end after that so we have to hit the 50 point mark by then as a minimum
