What I got told was once left on a surface it doesn't survive very long in the heat but survives much longer in the cold.

The problem is what do we believe.

All i remember is i was told that my pension would grow at 4.5% and the figure if lower than 5%. Decided no bank will pay that so just left it in. Got about 15 years in but paid a high amount for the time as was on good wages
dubed said:
The numbers are all going to be different, not least on the number of years you put in. You can request an up-to-date statement on pension amount and worth from them. I did this a few years ago, more out of interest (still a few years before I can claim). Well done for holding on to it, as I believe quite a few regretted cashing in on the plan when Peugeot was looking to offload its commitments.

Make sure you ask for a pension plan cash value statement as well as an up-to-date benefits illustration.

To be honest it is shite, especially as the weather is getting up into the 20s this week. Psychologically it takes its toll in the early days and I felt very down initially but now am a little more upbeat.
I have been hitting my punchbag, building a website for the business I am putting together and reading books. You will get through it but it is not much fun at all.

Agree. I guess we're thinking about it as all life needing water, which it will of course. Apparently it does best in cold, dry air - presumably, water in the air provides a resistance to 'travel' (haven't been bothered to research though).

Russia has trebled though in a day.
Germany's mortality rate is exceptional compared with other European countries.

Italy had the same numbers as South Korea on Wednesday and six times the mortality
Since then Italy's cases have increased by a factor of 3.5 and deaths sixfold
In the interim SK's case no is up 400 death's up 23

I was just seeing how Hancock was calling for manufacturing companies to start making ventilators- I had no idea but 50% of the ventilators in acute units across the whole world are made in Ireland, right next door, surely it might be prudent to start ordering instead of getting companies to make ventilators who don’t ever make ventilators... but what do I know
