Which is interesting as it supports a misogynistic/racial element to the criticsm given that the two couldn't be more polar opposites politically but she's had a stronger reaction than the male in her political party who made a far bigger error.

This thread is generally filled with opponents of the government. Generally Tory Homs Secretaries are not very popular in such environments

Hahaha what the hell?!

She is a midwife and they test every single patient before they enter midwifery ward. She delivers babies, she doesn’t treat Covid19 patients.

I have no idea what the rules are for those working on the front line.

As I said, when she was treating a positive patient she had a plastic face mask that protected the whole face.

It is a certain sort of person going on the attack. Why don't you ask them why.

We certainly have as much as Italy - I’m amazed they are testing non. Coronavirus patients every day in green wards. Also I’m pretty sure it’s not much different here for all staff - short for front line and not for those who are not

Say someone contracted the virus after the test, the reality is no one in this forum knows how many PPE are in hospitals and use age policy - no one despite claims are an expert - I assume the equipment is the full gown visor etc?

Where would they contract the virus? On the midwifery ward?

To be fair, you’ve been benchmarking & comparing other nations to us for weeks, hence the now legendary “would you rather be in Italy?”

Chief constable of Greater Manchester - Prime minister, these cuts could lead to a terrorist attack.
May - Stop being a drama queen .
Weeks before the Manchester arena bombing by a man she'd lifted the control order on. It's not fucking funny.

Turns out there is a magic money tree after all, it just took thousands of deaths for the Tories to reluctantly use it.

Cheis Smith a senior virologist has frequently stated they are not of much use at all - explained in some detail on a 5 line interview last Saturday (he takes Q and A every week) - I think the Cambridge educated Mr Smith might know more than you

They have since managed to source some more gowns, but I wonder what these people thought of Hancock saying yesterday that doctors and nurses aren't using PPE correctly

Your point of view seems to be that you know more than the healthcare workers themselves, who appear to be telling lies and all is actually fine and dandy. 28 healthcare workers have died so far, some have ended up wearing binbags while treating highly contagious patients. So bearing in mind the massive meltdown you went into when Boris went into hospital, and the rage you exhibited at what you saw as a lack of respect for him, to be making these kinds of statements is somewhat... macabre.

So why are so many in charge of the wards desperately requesting it? Are there studies proving it's ineffective and thus stop us wasting time and money on it?

I'm getting images of that Blackadder episode with Tom Baker on whether a ship needed a crew. "Opinion is divided on the subject. All the other captains say it is. I say it isn't"

Chris Smith was talking about the general public wearing face masks and how you can get the virus trapped in the face mask and then wear it all day.

It makes me laugh that the people thinking they are taking the higher ground here are actually as bad as, if not worse than the people they are trying to argue with.

There's many people on here that need to take a good look at themselves. It's just the Brexit thread part two, with the same bitter souls putting words in the mouths of others because they can't cope with their favoured politics being rejected by the majority of country.

Maybe by being a little bit more understanding and open to honest and adult debate something good could come of it. I guess we'll have to accept that will never happen though.

This thread really is pathetic.

frontline staff are dying because of political incompetence, you think it doesn't need highlighting?
It really fucking does.
Its not Brexit mark 2.
What understanding are you suggesting and these needs to be good to excuse frontline staff dying due to lack of the correct equipment.
