No one on skybluestalk can tell you the governments exit plan. I imagine they have one although it's subject to change along with the changing of the situation.
Will it ever be gone forever? Yes at some point and surely a vaccine will come along relatively soon.

I preferred it when you lost it about our scouting and recruitment on a weekly basis if I'm honest.

Commission to develop coordinated ‘exit strategy’ from lockdowns
Give em a bell and tell them they are wrong. Also mention that Wycombe are as good as 70's era Liverpool

Every country is autonomously announcing its own plans? The Eu pandemic committee collapsed as every country made it every man for himself. Sweden are in that aren’t they?

You can't get bogged down with the ins and outs cos it'll do your nut in. Don't forget it's unprecedented in modern times, most of the answers just aren't out there.

And why would this be a surprise? If the US are unsure on what to do the go-to response is shoot it or bomb it.

Our WI are known as Jam & Jerusalem. Their's should be Guns & God

Why would any of that information be publicly available? I find it pretty much impossible to believe that government in countries around the world aren't modeling various scenarios to come up with different exit strategies. Now there is more data available it should make it easier to model.

Sorry? Most virologists say this disease will be with every country for 2 years? Why is it just going away when every country has different stages of infection? Why do you think it will just vanish?

We don't so much need an exit plan as a plan to restart the economy, think it would be the right time to start work on infrastructure projects, electrify the rail network etc

It won't 'just vanish' eventually it will be eradicated, via vaccine /immunity or something else. I don't know the timescale.

lol, have a few beers, come back and he’s still asking questions and bickering with people to promote the angle that we’ve got our plan dead spot on, and if we haven’t then there’s nothing anyone can do anyway, or the figures are bullshit, or the graph is flawed, or it’s social media hyperbole, or “would you rather be in Italy” etc etc

I hope everyone is having as great evening as it is possible to have in these messed up circumstances

We need to spend massively on what could basically be a new new deal or we risk a possible depression

Yes we need to have a post depression style plan but it has to have some global co-ordination - the lack of this to date is the worst thing about the issue

Very tight ‘if not completely closed borders though.
But yeah ‘when the information is being supplied by a man who claimed he got 72 holes in one
In 4 rounds of golf ‘it should probably be taken with a large pinch of salt.

Haven't posted in here for over a week as I got a bit bored with all the bickering.

But a while back a certain poster, username begins with G, said that the charts I was posting were a load of rubbish because:

1) the scale is wrong
2) the chart was being manufactured to make a false point - that we were tracking the same as Italy. Apparently we were doing much better than them.

Well guess what.

1) the government's own charts in their daily press conferences use the same scale
2) we are tracking very closely to Italy - but worse

Apology accepted Grendel.

Again as I said to you at the start the start the constant evaluation of deaths across countries is not accurate and we now know this is indeed the case

Nice try though

Still think we're doing better than Italy?

Still think we won't have it as bad as Italy because their cases were mostly concentrated in a few areas?

Still think the government's response was acceptable when despite having a two week 'headstart' we're going to have it worse than Italy?

Still think we're doing better than Italy? Give it 10 days and we’ll know.

Still think we won't have it as bad as Italy because their cases were mostly concentrated in a few areas? Liverpool, Midlands, London.

Still think the government's response was acceptable when despite having a two week 'headstart' we're going to have it worse than.

But tell me Labour would have done better...
