We're looking at numbers of deaths in many countries individually that dwarf events like 9/11 and even the wars for us.Italy has a more congested number of cases in one area - in the end though it’s not actually that dire is it - there is a fixation on deaths and it’s rate but there was an acceptance as soon as it hit 20,000 at least will die in a first phase. Fact no1, the flu vaccine works only on last years strain of flu, it is useless on this years strain. Its given as a placebo only. This is widely accepted in the nhs
Fact 2, my niece works in a major hospital in the south east in a i.c.u. unit, the hospital has reported 6 fatalities so far due to covid-19,
But not a single nurse has reported treating anyone who has died of the virus!

Then for every person that dies of seasonal flu 10 are going to die of coronavirus. Many many more people are going to be infected and a far bigger percentage of those infected are going to die.It’s not easy to say but it is the reality. The death rate at the start of the outbreak was claimed to be much higher than influenza and one year 26,000 in the uk died so if it’s contained to those levels with minimum disruption it’s a success. Even twice the level it is. It’s impossible to suppress go zero
