I was called in for my flu jab last autumn, but not Covid. I was told that, at 72, I no longer qualified.
Fair enough - I figure the risks are tiny now.
She jabbed me for shingles while there (booster), so two slightly sore arms anyway!

Could we not wait for us to win the league before resurrecting this thread?

I thought there was another lockdown incoming

My shingles jab knocked me out for about 3 days - I had to not attend a boys curry night

Def a better option than shingles. Got that about 6 months ago, absolute agony. Still having issues from it yet everyone I speak to, including my GP, says I was lucky it was only mild!

Someone in my wife’s family had it and it took him over 6 months to recover.

My dad got it years ago.

I was only a young lad and I genuinely thought he was going to die, he was that ill.

I`d take any after affects of the jab over shingles all day long.

It's amazing how short people's memories are on this topic. The behaviour from some, and the coercesion that was going on is some of the ugliest we've seen from the human race in my life time.

I don't think society has recovered. The world feels like a worse place now.

If it was a deliberate thing, I'd question the prevailing narrative by the actions of certain states since, I think have tbh honest,as I you know I believe I had it in the may/June before it became a thing, I don't think I mentioned that it was at a big pharma event in Paris, other folks that I worked with came back with it, matching all the prevailing demographics of subsequent post viral stats?

I’m not exaggerating when I say my MH fell off a cliff during the lockdowns and it’s not fully recovered since. Insomnia, tension, irritability etc were not really an issue beforehand.

However-without an effective vaccination rollout it would have been much worse. The data bears that out in no uncertain terms.

The vaccine was appropriate for those at risk, trying to force people to take it however, was not. Especially given as it did not stop the spread transmission, and still for the overwhelming majority of the population, was not actually that dangerous.

I will never forgive the people who ran our lives into the ground during this time, and I certainly won't allow those who tried to bully others into getting the vaccine to forget it ever happened either. There are still people I know now who are pretty reclusive since the pandemic, and seem to have got used to living under a rock. The effects of this whole phenomenon are still largely misunderstood, I think.

We’ll agree to disagree on most of this I think, but concern at how quickly it’s faded from public consciousness I agree entirely.
