How will they know that though? What happens if after Omicron everything slowly starts to die out?

It's been over a year since people were first getting covid jabs and they haven't had 4,5,6

Will people want to use them if COVID isn't so much of a thing after Omicron?

Will COVID passes still be needed even if it dies out?

Unless another variant happens to popup, that is.

actually some people would have been given 4 in the U.K. some people with immune issues would have been given a 3rd shot before the booster

Aren't they offered to over 50's and vulnerable people once a year for that reason because they assume everybody else doesn't really need them?

I don't think I've ever had one.

Lets get to that stage with covid then and in the meantime make sure we vaccine everybody so we don't have to piss around with lockdowns until we know what's going on.

So people who are vulnerable to serious complications and death have been identified and protected and that's a bad thing because?

As I said, give it a while and you will be getting a hard on about unvaccinated people being arrested.

Meanwhile, you worry that your vaccinated missus will be ill and pass it to her vaccinated relatives. (Which I also hope never happens).

Don't really see the logic in that.

But you're a big free thinker. Just a massive coincidence you've spent years repeating everything from breitbart verbatim.

When people scream things like breitbart, it just shows how bottom of the barrel you have to go to try and win an argument.

Liverpool have 99% of the squad vaccinated according to Klopp, yet they are cancelling games. The vaccine is not stopping the spread and to blame the continuation of the pandemic on the unvaccinated makes very little sense for the most part.

You, like many people, have lost all perspective of the virus.

Back in reality I actually I know several unvaccinated people and even met one of them earlier on.

Back in reality I also know vaccinated, boosted and unvaccinated people. What's your point?

So when the next vaccine evading variant appears and it needs another 2 next October, where does it end with just keep having them all the time?

How can countries say how many more will be needed? Can they see into the future with what will happen when Omicron dies out?

Let's face it, the whole "vax v anti vax" stuff is being driven massively as well. Create that divide.

The simple solution would be for the copyright of the vaccines to be made free to reproduce worldwide so we can vaccinate the world and lessen the chances of it mutating.

We will see though, won't we?

Meanwhile, you have had 12 injections and are still scared of it and are out hunting the unvaccinated like something from the purge. (Yes, that is an obvious exaggeration)

In an ideal world yes.

So instead of throwing billions at the people stopping it, why don't countries tell them to sort their act out?

Even then, it's still possible for mutations/spread/ people having it in their system when they die.

Politics and capital are so intertwined as to basically be the same. How many ministers have links to pharmaceutical and private health?

Isn't this how it works for every vaccine? If you're not up to date according to the required vaccine schedule you're not considered vaccinated.

I'm pretty sure we should be using a system at least as robust as the one required by my dog to go to daycare.

Yet when I say this it's a tin hat consipiracy

If it was about health and saving from COVID so much, why don't the big countries turn round and say "Actually, we will only use companies who will allow the world to use it".

Like you say, what's the point in throwing tens of billions over to the big companies for the 8th jab for 25 year old's next year when in some countries there will be OAPS with nothing. It's round and round in a big circle.

What’s the craic with the booster and getting in places then? I’ve got Covid right now and I’m absolutely wiped out by it. So I can’t have the booster for a while can I?

Without turning it into another left right thing we had our chance to change things and we chose Boris fucking Johnson. We have to deal with it.

They aren't going to do the right thing so we have to keep getting vaccinated until COVID isn't an issue and I don't give two shits if unvaccinated people are restricted because of it to protect others who can't be vaccinated.

You can still get your covid entry pass 10 days after your positive PCR came in.

At the minute you can still do a negative lateral test and report it to the app with being double.

Will depend if they remove the test option.

Randomly my daughter doesn't need to test for school for 90 days as she has just had it. (She has had multiple negatives to be sure though but didn't have to).

Experts say Omicron variant is 'best thing' for pandemic

EXCLUSIVE: MailOnline analysis shows the UK's case fatality rate - the proportion of infections that end in a death - was dropping even before the Omciron variant took off in the country.

How long after having Covid do I need to wait to have my booster?
If you’ve tested positive for Covid-19, you need to wait four weeks (28 days) from the day of your positive test to have a booster. This gap will help to separate any side effects of the vaccine from effects of your illness. If you’ve already booked your booster appointment and then test positive, make sure to log in and reschedule your booking

Hope you feel better soon.

You still can't get a pass to go to events and the like with that. You can come out of isolation after 7 days with 2 negative LFTs but for the pass you still have to wait 10 days until after infection.

Probably could have searched that myself to be fair. Cheers though. Think I’m going to risk a beer tonight. So bored.

Edit: a can at home, not the pub for the record

Of course it’s the fault of the unvaccinated. We’re still having to take measures to protect the vulnerable and the most vulnerable is the unvaccinated. We’re pretty much at the point now where a moronic small number of the population is holding the sensible majority of the population hostage.

Just like the fully vaccinated Liverpool squad. Wasn't long ago klopp was moaning about lower League teams and their protocols.

Least blaming everything on unvaccinated means those at the top aren't getting blamed.
