Philosophically I'd have issues, but ESB has persuaded me that for certain groups to regain their liberties, the irresponsible need to be kept away from them.Its for the good of society so I am afraid that if this behaviour continues then I am leaning towards measures that restrict their movements as they are not prepared to think of the greater population.

The big difference is free will isn't it. In the apartheid regime black South Africans were not black by deliberate choice. These anti-vaxxers are.

What the likes of ESB are forgetting when making these ridiculous analogies is that those refusing to take the vaccine are forcing the vulnerable, who have no choice in the matter, out of society. They are causing exactly the segregation they claim to be against.Ironically if we go down absurd WW2 analogies ESB is Lord Haw Haw spreading fear and misinformation. I am in favour generally of civil liberties but there is no reason to not take the vaccine at all. None. There's a large group of CEV people for whom the current advise includes avoiding places where there will be unvaccinated people present. So the reality is whichever route we take we're restricting a group of people and given a choice between forcing restrictions on the vulnerable, who have no choice in the matter, or anti-vaxxers, who are making a choice, I know which group I'd be restricting.
