Really?

You can't see the difference between going to the supermarket and going to the pub?

Are we saying those pricks behaving like animals NEED to behave like they are and NEED everything they are taking? There are people going to supermarkets just to try and buy toilet rolls they dont even need.

I do need food yes, at the minute I am going to the local shop every day to buy food because there's no chance I am queuing up at Tesco for hours. I can't cook a decent meal at the minute until they stop but I can walk into a pub and buy one.

For the record, I haven't been to a pub but if people can't get decent food after a day at work in Tesco. If they can stroll in for a nice meal at the pub with no hassle then what are they going to do?

I haven't got time to go and queue up every morning to get some fresh meat and veg, I still need to work and pay my bills. It will be Tracy from Facebook buying everything from every shop while she sits on the dole and Piers Morgan pushing more people into pubs.

The bloke is an absolute prick. I don't know anyone who would disagree.

But as I jeep saying life needs to go on as long as possible. People need to work to make a living. Yet some try to say we should have locked down before the virus took hold. Yet they won't say how long it should happen for.

If we could keep our distance it would spread much slower. Hospitals would be able to cope. But we have countless who think they know better.

As I have kept saying we are about a week behind France. They have the advantage of their population being spread about. We are a small island with about the same population. I speak to the wife all the time. I don't have a clue when they will next get to see me. She detest Boris more than anyone on here. But a couple of days ago she surprised me. She said for once he is doing the right thing.

People have already had enough of being in lockdown. So they are now ignoring it. The fines have multiplied to try and stop people flouting the rules put in place. The lowest fine has gone from €39 to €135. It still isn't working. Someone got stopped right outside our house last night. The wife heard where they had come from. Over an hour away.

The one question never answered is how long do we lock down for. Until there is a vaccine? Or should it be done, release the measures when the NHS can cope then lock down again?

What is needed the most is serious consequences for those who flout the rules/guidelines. Keep your distance. Stay indoors for 14 days if you have any symptoms. But because we have idiots that know better it isn't working. So as I said last week I can see a shutdown being announced this weekend.

Piers Morgan keeps kicking off about people go into the pub.

Just put ITV on, why are they 2 guests sat on the sofa on this morning surrounded by camera men, makeup artists, presenters, sound people etc?

Until pricks like him who have told people to go and stock up pipe the fuck down then everybody will be hysterical.

I wouldn't be surprised if somebody gets attacked for leaving their house and Coronavirus Rage becomes a thing.

Yeah I am sure the country singer plugging their new album are key workers and really need to be there.

It's pricks like him driving the division, he was telling people to get weeks worth of shopping. He is the one making out that anybody leaving their house is killing their own grandparents.

In which case why is it OK for the same person to go and scrap in a supermarket or why can I go to work without any symptoms?

Until they make it a full lockdown that is a law then people will still go out at their own risk.

But it’s not just their own risk. I’m obviously fighting a losing battle. Getting food and having to go to work isn’t the same as popping to the boozer for a few slugs in my opinion. And I’m saying this as someone who absolutely guarantees if I went down the club now my high risk category dad will be in there like every day.

Is this true what I'm hearing that Tim Martin is refusing to close pubs "on commercial grounds", and because of his big donations the govt are unwilling to say a word about it? So much stuff flying around you don't know whats true and what isn't. I did see that Wetherspoons won't pay anyone if they go off sick, he's a horrible bloke.

It sounds terrible but the levels of ignorance and stupidity are so high that it will literally take someone close to them ending up in hospital for it to sink in.

Yeah but I can go and queue at Tesco for an hour to fight an OAP for a bag of rice at 7am and then have to drive around trying to get stuff to make a decent meal as well as trying to work for a day.

The other option is to go to Spoons and get a curry and a pint for a Fiver. I have mates who have been going to the pub for dinner for that reason.

I get that people need to get food and do shopping but the majority of those at the minute don't NEED to be getting what they are and doing what they are doing.

Once there is some sort of order in the shops and people like Piers Morgan shut the fuck up then I am pretty sure it will die down naturally.

I think the argument is that it’s been argued the pub is a risk category. Supermarkets clearly are worse. I went into a Sainsbury’s yesterday and it was absolute hell. Vast amounts of angry people and no food. An gang of kids pushing a trolley with one person in it bringing down a whole shelf of stuff. It was a fairly bleak seen and I will not be going back.

They haven't made it law to close pubs yet though have they?

The thing is, if he closes then won't loads of people lose their jobs?

So your genius plan is to cut off food supply? Have you not considered why that’s less preferable than closing the pub?

Jesus, your automatic response of just whatever the opposite side is is really being shown up here.

I agree they’re going to have to make it law and probably should’ve done already. But this “I do what I want” attitude is childish and harmful. People should be big boys and girls and not need Daddy Boris to tell them off.

If you want cooked food, get a delivery. You’ll do without Wetherspoons curry night for a bit.

Which is the point, why are the government going to take action for not closing?

Make it the law, lock it down and then action can be taken about it. I am pretty sure it helps pubs be able to claim off their insurance then if they are forced to close.

Probably more decisive action, i.e proper lockdown etc.

Atm, we're in some sort of limbo. I am taking it seriously, but it's hard to when you can still do whatever you want (Buying toilet rolls and bread aside)

*Especially as the majority of the general population are fucking idiots.

And what about the people they then go on and pass it to? It it their fault as well?

Has the meaning of the word "virus" not actually sunk in yet? Bewildering lack of basic intelligence & common sense.

No, the point is that if you make a conscious choice to go into a boozer bearing in mind the current situation around the world, you are either incredibly stupid or a seriously flawed human being. The fact that they haven't 'officially' been closed is irrelevant, or are people just drones now incapable of making a conscious decision themselves?

We need to get away from the whole "You are happy to kill your grandparents" shit.

Every time I go in the shop there are people's grandparents in there buying cigs, maybe we can ban smoking as well for over 60s as it will be making their lungs weaker or is that their choice?

So what you're saying is that unless things are officially closed down thus removing the option, you are unable to resist the urge to do something pretty stupid?
