Can I also be worried that somebody thinks This Morning is worth watching on catchup. That's surely not what it was designed for!

You should have elaborated more then, something like "I sat on my fat white arse and without any imagination of what to do put on morning TV in the evening where I watched this morning, presented by a middle aged white gay man and a slitty younger white woman where they hosted a muslim lady doctor who said that reports of blood clots, which is is the final product of the blood coagulation step in hemostasis, occurring following intramuscular injections of both Astra Zeneca and Pfizer brand coronavirus vaccines is most likely untrue."

At least you could have taken us on a journey.

Nah, just go for "I saw a muzlim on me tele of of of"

Can people not read?

The reports then are getting flappy over say they EU might in the future look at vaccine exports. They haven't taken any steps yet and this is likely a production issue that will happen from time to time. The NHS has done well enough so far that we can afford slower periods.

Cummings can fuck off, he's a no-one that must people just think of as some twat from the past who lies.

The DHSC has little to do with the logistics of the vaccine roll out

Right for all those flapping any blaming the EU it seems it could be the import of AZ vaccines from India (which make up a decent portion of what we use) are slowing down for a bit.

The whole lockdown release plan is premised on the vaccine programme and it's going to be well out of sync.

Aren't we a couple of weeks ahead of schedule at the moment? Obviously if there's a supply problem for weeks it will push things back but a couple of weeks of delay shouldn't be too big of an issue.

It is an issue as there will be a backlog plus second doses due. Based on a 12 week gap, by the end of April 9.3m people are due a second dose. That's 20 days work at least being generous on current rates.

Kind of annoying that Scotland will let 50 people go to a wedding in late April by the time we’re allowed just 15

COVID-19: Pfizer and AstraZeneca deny domestic coronavirus vaccine shortage

The drug companies say they are on course to meet their delivery commitments, despite an NHS England warning of April shortages.
news.sky.com

Drugs giants Pfizer and AstraZeneca have rejected an NHS claim that the UK is facing a COVID-19 vaccine shortage, insisting there is no threat to supplies.

The two leading vaccine manufacturers both said they remain on course to meet their delivery commitments and denied they were facing disruption in supplies.

Their defiant statements appeared to contradict a letter to vaccination centres from NHS England warning there will be a "significant reduction" in supplies next month.

In a terse statement, Pfizer said: "We have an agreement with the government to supply 40 million doses of the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine to the UK by the end of the year.

"While the details of this agreement are confidential, we can confirm that Q1 deliveries remain on track and continue to progress in line with the monthly schedule, agreed in advance with the Vaccines Taskforce."

And AstraZeneca said in a statement: "Our UK domestic supply chain is not experiencing any disruption and there is no impact on our delivery schedule."

Toby fayre and all that AZ are saying "Our UK domestic supply chain is not experiencing any disruption and there is no impact on our delivery schedule." which might be correct as the reports are saying it is shipments coming in from India that are the issue.

Not sure why the government are not being clear as the vaccine programme is what they have pined their hopes on and a loss of confidence in this will hurt them at the polls.

Don’t know if I’m just paranoid but there’s some global level fuckery going on somewhere. Weird medical agency decisions, threats of blocks, now shortages. All seemingly out of nowhere with vague explanations that make no sense.

I think it's just the EU trying to cover their backs to be honest. Depending on you level of tin foil hat, a variety of things currently going on could qualify. They fucked it up badly.

Mentioned on the radio it’s due to India wanting the vaccine supplies made there to not be shipped out.
