Promotion not confirmed yet I know but you’re there. Most consistent and overall best team in the league this season. Thoroughly deserved.

Obviously I would rather it was my team Ipswich and I’m still optimistic about our chances of joining you but us aside you are the club I would have wanted to go up. A proper club, decent fans and I know you’ve all been through a lot supporting your team over the past 20 years. Enjoy and hope to see you in the Premier League next season!

When you beat us at Cov I thought you would really come to the party but you have shown yourselves to be very lukewarm. Boro though have left the door open for you-time to put your foot on the gas for the last 7-8 games.

I’m not a frequent visitor so don’t know @Ipad Boro but I’m not here for your love. its just that after experiencing the lows of league one and then the highs of successive promotion I have some idea as to how you’re all feeling tonight so wanted to say well done.

It’s going to the wire between us, Boro and Millwall (they were good today, especially second half). We’ve got Norwich and Southampton away and haven’t been great this season away from home other than at your place where we put in our best away performance of the season. We play Boro at home on 18th April and I think the winner of that one will finish above the other. Anyway, what do you all care, your job is done!

We’ve done well this year but the damage was done in the first 6-8 weeks of the season.
A draw was fair today and we were very average against Wednesday last week but we’ve been decent since November. Robbed of an injury time pen against Hull a few weeks ago (I know we’re not alone there, the officiating this season has been abysmal) and on the wrong side of a shocking injury time penalty awarded against us when we played Stoke a few days later is what’s stopped us taking advantage. Fine margins. We aren’t setting the world alight but after the poor start every town fan would have settled for where we are now with a few games to go.

Going on our respective team's performances recently, it would be impossible to be to the death mind.

It would end up in an inevitable draw as we both seem fond of them of late.

Sounds about right! We’re playing well but aren’t clinical enough. We should have won the game in the first half today. We’re not alone in that though, someone mentioned on Radio Suffolk earlier that Boro are having a million shots a game and not scoring.

I’ve said this a few times now but it looks like both Ipswich and Boro are feeling the pressure more than Millwall who just look exceptionally well managed and more clinical than both teams.

My money is on them to make it up in second with a Boro/Ipswich/Southampton/AN Other in a group of death playoff.

It doesn’t feel that pressurised and the team play in a measured way. McKenna is calm 99% of the time (he lost it when we weren’t given a pen against Hull in injury time) and that radiates to the players. If anything at times we look too relaxed and don’t play with enough intensity.

Millwall played today like we did 2 seasons ago. Not in terms of the style of football but the way the team and their fans just seemed to be enjoying it. It’s going to be an exciting few weeks. I think we’ve just about got enough to get there. I don’t fancy us winning the play offs though, it’s automatic or nothing I reckon.
