Big Whoop whoop to Lampard, his team, to King for his foresight and the players for a magnificent season.
Can't wait to welcome Utd, Liverpool, the other lot in Sky Blue, Chelsea, Arsenal (Gyokeres) and the like, including an old rival the Villa!
To many young fans and the 30 somethings, this is all exciting and new. To some of us older ones, it's been a long wait...but we are back!

Won't be happy till the title is secured. There is still a bit of work to do.

I bizarrely feel a bit muted. Promotion was essentially done weeks ago, some bookies literally stopped taking odds on us and podcasts stopped even talking about us in episodes about the promotion race.

I’ve wanted nothing more than getting back to the PL for 25 years but theres not been a Victor Torp v Man U (before var fucked us) or Hamer v Luton moment.

I’m desperate for us to win the league, that will be the emotional moment for me, seeing Grimes lift that trophy.

Need something to cap it off. We’ve crept over the line over a period of weeks. Was hoping a goal going in yesterday would feel like the moment.

Crept over the line

last 11 games

won 8
Drawn 2
Lost 1

crept over the line lol

Maybe I haven’t been clear but I mean it’s been a gradual process rather than happen in the last game, winning a playoff final or a goal scored against Shef Wed. Although it’s basically done it’s still not official so feels drawn out. It’s gotten progressively clearer over the last several weeks it would happen.

We should finish several points clear.

Drawn out??

There 4 (Four) games left in a Championship season and we have all but secured promotion man!!

Or have you not been clear again and you mean a 25 year drawn out period?

I mean we’ve all thought we were going up for weeks and now it’s done but not official. Don’t know what’s so complicated really. It’s just happened in a bit of a weird way with the draw and then Boro losing.

I feel the same really. The job isn't done yet.

Been an amazing season even if we somehow don't go up as Champions, but I'm not going to be relaxed until it's confirmed.

So you want be happy we are promoted unless we win the title. Odd take
We have been top of the league since October bar one week and ahead of second by some margin so whilst we can all celibrate promotion it would be a bit of a sour note to finish second especially to Ipswich so we defo need to perform for the next few games and clinch that trophy, finish on a high to take us into next season
