Just do not get the appeal of Harry Hill at all. Just seems to pull faces and dress up silly to try and gain laughs.

Live...his stand-up routine is hilarious (to me...& many others) - totally off the wall (& NO swearing!)
Each to their own though I guess

Lenny Henry has not made me laugh since he stopped impersonations as his main theme.

Miranda Hart is a bit too "Carry-on" type humour for me.

Lee Evans...occasionally funny, just a tirade of swearing that just quickly gets on my nerves (but then - any of the comedians swearing every other word fall into this bracket)

Jo Brand - very tired formula that is stuck in the '80s

Russell Brand...watched him twice over about a 2yr period & didn't find anything remotely funny on either occasion. He can be amusing when interviewed on chat shows.

This is a very negative thread...lets start another "Funniest comedian(en)s" instead :)

Yes indeed.

And my choices would be;

Lenny Henry, Miranda Hart, Lee Evans, Jo Brand and Russell Brand.

Gina Yashere. She has one joke "I'm Nigerian right hurrrr hurrrr"

David Baddiel & Frank Skinner

Jasper Carrot.

Dale Winton

Bruce Forsythe (national treasure my arse...nice to see you... no it ain't).

Ant and Dec

Miranda Hart - ruined series 2-4 of not going out.

Russell Howard

Milton Jones

Andy Parsons - every joke of his starts with 'now then...' or 'apparently...' and then takes just over a month to finish.

Adrian Chiles

John Motson

Steve Claridge

Jim Rosenthal

That's about it off the top of my head...

These days I generally don't watch tv much.

Adding to the Jo Brand dislike list.

Not necessarily the performers I dislike but the show: Flight of the conchords. I think I can be deported for saying that.

Peter Kay was really funny for 5 minutes.

I kind of agree with this too. His 1st/2nd dvd was funny but after that its kind of same old same old. His newest DVD is a complete joke "Peter Kay LIVE" .... just interviews and highligts :S nothing "live" about it :S

Very few "comedians" make me laugh these days. They seem to think that swearing makes them instantly funny - doesn't work as far as I'm concerned.
Some annoy me more than others - Russell Brand, Jack Whitehall to name two.
