I was in the club shop and was really tempted by the Highfield Road model but saw it was over 1000 pieces which means either it's massive or there are loads of tiny pieces I'd definitely lose within minutes.

The pieces are tiny. I ended up doing the Sky Blue Sam one for my kids as they had no chance. It was infuriatingly fiddly but looked good when finished

Yeah the sets are small, but I have to say HR looks superb when completed.

The CBSA looks decent in the photos although the seats are inexplicably not sky blue.

I do like a big lego set to build, find it very relaxing except for the ones that need stickers, placing them precisely demands a patience and precision I just don't have. I got the Seinfeld set for Christmas a few years ago and that saw me through to new year lovely.

What is the quality like on them? Do the bricks go together well? I’d like one but wary they are not actual LEGO.

Did HR with the kids over xmas- had loads left over so either we were shit at making it or lots of spares. Haven't opened the CBS yet. I might see if there is enough sky blues pieces from HR to make the CBS as wouldn't be right making it with the wrong colour.

Anybody buy the mooi brick stadiums? Yeah I'm 49, shut up. Anyway, the CBSA one I bought had shed loads of missing pieces. Anybody else experience the same issue. They are sold out now so they have given me a refund.
We’ve done the CBS one and there were a couple of missing yellows, but I replaced them with others that were spare and we got it done. Loads left at the end as well which was a bit weird.
looks half decent to be fair.
apart from the seats not being the sky blue, but hey ho

Did the ball and Sam. Had quite a few left over bits on both at the end.

With the ball, the instructions didn't match the picture on the box slightly, which I found odd.

Bought the stadiums but was planning on having them for next Christmas to give me something to do. Bit worried now about it missing pieces though. The CBS I bought in West Orchards even after the online shop said sold out.

The boys got a few speed champions Lego sets for Christmas!... They are great ...but I have to do the stickers - there were nearly 80 over three sets!! 😭😭😭😭

That sounds like some irritating sod at the factory having a laugh.
I had a mate that worked in Waterstones who used to tear the last page out of books so the person who bought it would have no idea how the story ended after spending hours reading it
There's always another page in historical term's,you just have to create it and turn the page, America are you listening.

My lad had it for Xmas from his GF. He had loads of spare parts! Like, loads. Instructions were terrible and the light and dark blue colours were very confusing. No way young kids could complete that, some of the bricks are millimetres wide/tall.

It looks good finished though.
